Unfriendly staff and overpriced food

reply to the owner: I appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify my previous statement about the pricing of the food. When I used the term "overpriced," I did not mean that the food was simply expensive. Rather, I meant that the quality of the food did not match the price that was being charged, resulting in an unfair value proposition for the customer.

Regarding my negative review, it was not solely based on the price of the food. However, I do feel that the high price I paid added to my disappointment with the overall experience.

I understand that all prices are clearly marked and that no one forced me to order. However, as a customer, I have the right to express my opinion on the value of the food and the service provided. Sharing feedback, whether positive or negative, is an essential aspect of improving and refining any business.

The best Ma-la hot pot spot to come at Taipei, I’m from kaohsiung, this is the only place of Chen-du Ma-la hot pot that I will come all the way from kaohsiung to eat. They have really great taste, the owners wife is straight from china, she know the taste pretty well. We had to different soup, we had the sour soup with fried pork, the fried pork are cook in the soup, the soups is about sour the it makes you open your mouth. I had start with the sour soup than go straight to Ma-la one. Mild is pretty spice already, no need to choose mid or hot. Must try their special beef, the beef is tender, ever cook about longer still can taste it. Will come again and recommend to all my friends. They do not serve white rice, as a guy who love hot pots with rice, it’s kinda sad. BUT, they have the fried rice which makes you wanna eat more, it smells awesome, really nice and tasty....

We had a great experience. The food is delicious, especially the meat - good quality! The best part was service. My friend and I are not from here and it was the first time we had an hot pot experience. The staff was so kind, patient and fun with us. I definitely recommend this place wherever you're a newbie or not...
