湘鼎坊 — Restaurant in Da'an District

好吃但服務差，明明已經訂位也準時到達，店員讓我們在空桌子坐下來，倒了飲料，雖然兩位朋友晚一點到，但我們想先點菜，等上菜時朋友也差不多會到達了，卻在坐下兩分鐘後被趕出店門要我們再等位要我們先讓給另一組客人。如果要等人齊才安排入座還可接受，但坐下來又被趕出去實在無法理解。

With booking the seat, we came on time and staff led us to a table. Two of my friends was late and would arrived in 5 mins. So we filled the menu and planned to make the order first. But after sitting down for 2 minutes, the staff asked us to stand up and wait again at the door, holding with the drink we’ve already poured into cups, they wanted to serve another group of customers because there were not enough seats.

I would accept if they told us all people should arrive before taking seats, but not acceptable that they let us sit down and stand up to wait at the door again. Especially I have already booked the table with the available time they told, and I rescheduled my original itinerary for the dinner, but getting an impolite treatment. We ordered 3 dishes for dinner as we had a late lunch. We ordered stir-fried asparagus, prawn with pineapple and fried tofu with hoisin sauce as a dip. All 3 dishes were very delicious and they reminded me of home cooked food. The chef was the personal chef of President Chiang Ching Kuo. The service was excellent as the staff were very friendly. 湘鼎坊 is located close to the Liuzhangli (六張犁) MRT station. This is a restaurant serving Hunan cuisine. You had better make a reservation before you come. Also, there are some dishes that you have to pre-order such as Casserole dish head (沙鍋魚頭). The food is just GREAT!!! And the price is quite reasonable. I will definitely visit here...
