Cross Cafe克勞斯咖啡店 — Restaurant in Da'an District

This review is for the Cross Café ToGo: A lovely little cafe and great place for breakfast with simple but very good food choices.

We visited this place for a weekday breakfast and were positively surprised about the warm atmosphere in the cafe and well-priced food options. For early birds, the café already opens at 6:30am.

For food, we ordered a sandwich and a breakfast pancake which were freshly cooked and were very tasty.

The only challenge people who don’t speak mandarin might face is that the menu is not available in English.

In summary, a great little cafe with good coffee and well tasting...

A nice, spacious, delightful afternoon hangout spot. Quite a lot of customers, but not noisy to my surprise. The cinnamon rolls were genuinely impressive, crispy on the out side, moisture and flavorful on the inside, and the roasted nuts on top of it further enhance their palatability. The soufflé pancake was also a treat. Even though it takes time to make, it definitely worths the waiting. There’re dozens of special beverages to choose from, and some promising looking salads and mains as well. Also, prices are fair, at least...

Food is ok but I really liked their waffles. It was a bit crunchy and soggy at the same time but that's just how I like my waffles!!

Will visit again to see if they have other waffle dishes. Also would have been better if they broke up the waffle before serving it on the boat, it was very cumbersome trying to tear it apart (unless you are supposed to eat it in one go, which I don't think...
