KIN KAN EN — Restaurant in Da'an District

First time visiting this wagyu buffet restaurant and all I can say is that it’s definitely worth every penny! The quality of the beef is really really good and not only that the seafood that are available are really fresh! Had multiple servings of their Japanese oysters are they are HUGE not the little ones that you normally see at buffets who serves Japanese oysters. Another big plus is that their oysters are all freshly shucked for you and only the flesh of it is served for your immediate consumption. For the hotpot we went with their truffle soup (which by the way is our favourite) was extremely savoury and delicious. We opt for the NTD2480 per pax buffet and were served with the best quality beef, pork and seafood!

The signature cocktail is definitely something you can try, besides the plum wine which was highly recommended. We were lucky that the bartender 小夜 is around and we got personalized cocktail.

Even though 小夜 is the bartender, he was the first server for our table, giving us tips on how to perfect the BBQ.

We had the NT$2480/person set. The thick beef tongue comes frozen so it's not easy to cook and we have tried a couple rounds but the quality did vary each time, not recommended. The Wagyu beef quality also varies each time but most of the time the quality is okay. The best dish of the night is probably the Matsuba crab meat however it comes in small portions each time and it takes a lot longer than other dishes. Although the store manager gifted us the famous seasonable red crab (in the foil), unfortunately those are not really fresh. The raw oysters are also just average not super fresh.
