We just came here today 1/12/2023 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can say that Marco Polo made it extra special for us.
Firstly, I was hesitant to go because of the bad reviews, but it's the instinct that tells me to give it a try and we're glad that we didn't cancel the reservation.
Okay, so the place itself is perfection! Stunning! And classy! š„°
Food:
We bought two set A which worth 1,980 + 10% service fee. It consists of 3 dishes. Appetizer or soup, main course and dessert plus with drinks.
The bread is soft and good when it's warm but a bit chewy when it gets cold. They serve 3 kinds of butter, which is unsalted, honey butter and the veggie butter. I like everything specially the veggie butter. š
Oh! The fried tapioca is my husband's favorite! Dip it in tuna and the bean paste taste really good!
So, the first entreƩ for my husband is the appetizer area, Tartare di salmone con caviale. And mine is the Zuppa di Astice e Mais. We like both but the soup tasted better because of its thick lobster and corn soup. The cucumber sorbet on the salmon is so good too also the salmon itself!
For the main course, we chose Cernia Rossa con Orzo e peperoni for my husband and premium lamb rack for me. The fish is good but the lamb rack is no ordinary steak! The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth. We both like it so much! 10/10!
The last past of the set is the dessert, my hubby chose the "ultimate coconut dessert" which got my attention because of their presentation. It's just so cute! and mine is the tiramisu! Both tasted so good! Not too sweet and soggy.
We also got wine which was serve with utmost professionalism, classiness and formality by Mr. Marvin Pastrana. His explanation of the wines we chose is satisfying!
We got the Trivento red wine from 2020 for my hubby. And mine is the lighter one (I forgot the nameš¤) both tasted great! The color of Trivento is darker than mine and has stronger taste.
The staff treated us great! And gave us their 100% customer satisfaction! Thank you so much for the free dessert as well. Highly appreciated and recommended.
It's worth the money and it was a great experience.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe celebrated my friend, Genās, birthday at Marco Polo. We had such a blast!!! It was amazing! The food and the service were beyond compare.
Special mention to the guys who made our dining experience memorable. Saif, the Asst. Director of F&B, who had a good sense of humor and filled our night with laughs. Chef Omar, the Italian chef, the menu he prepared for us made our tummies burst with happiness. Sam, the restaurant manager, who constantly checked up on us and made sure we were comfortable. Eddison, the sommelier, whose wine recommendations piqued our interest. They were so rich in flavor. Carmen, for clearing our table with a smile on her face. Ellie, the lady who introduced the dishes of our meal and was so warm. Grace, or āHe-Manā as Saif fondly calls her, who took care of us the entire night even with the language barrier, she was as sweet as her smile. And especially Chef Frank for making all of this possible. He organized this whole surprise dinner for my friend. Made sure we were settled down as soon as he met us. He had such the warmest heart. We are sooo so grateful for the dining experience. It was one for the books!
For anybody else who werenāt mentioned, the DOFB who replied to my email enquiry (Iām sorry I didnāt get to reply anymore), the ones who prepared our food in the kitchen that we didnāt know about, and also the singer whose name we didnāt know, I hope the management can identify who they are so they are recognized. Again, we are beyond...

I ate at this restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday, and the restaurant was packed. Although I didnāt have a reservation, fortunately, the restaurant was able to arrange for me a table by the window. After listening to Kevinās recommendations ( I think he is the restaurant manager there), I decided to order a 3 courses meal. Vitello Tonnato as starter, Spaghetti Vongole as main and Chocolate Bonetto as dessert.
Vitello Tonnato was impressive, the veal tenderloin was really well cooked, soft and together with the tuna sauce, it was amazing!! Main course was good, very Italian style, focusing on the flavor of the ingredients. Chocolate Bonetto is definitely a must-order dish if you are a chocolate lover!
The service at this restaurant is well done, staff is really attentive and friendly, and clearly know their menu to give good recommendations. Thank you Kevin for those good recommendations!
Overall, I had a great experience at MarcoPolo, and will definitely go back to try out...
