Moi Cafe — Restaurant in Da'an District

I came with other friends before, and had a good impression about this cafe, but this time I was rather disappointed.

The interior deco and atmosphere remain relaxing and comfy. Omelettes are still of good standards, and are highlights of its brunch offerings. The sides are a bit sad where there was just one piece of apple and orange, and the lettuce was not properly cleansed. What I really disliked was the service. There were just two tables when we arrived, but all tables have got a jar of drinking water except for us. Later it took me to go to the cashier to place my order while others were served at the table. All in all, I did almost everything by myself, yet they charge 10% in addition for service fee. There was just one waitress who was obviously overloaded and had no sense of priority or urgency. It was also get stuffy that me and my families were sweating while waiting...

My boyfriend and I came here after landing in Taiwan at 5am. This was one of the few places that’s opened early by our AirBnB so we decided to give it a try.

The staff spoke very little English and seat us upstairs and was given a small breakfast menu that was only in Chinese. We weren’t given the full menu so I think they didn’t serve those items yet but those were the food choices that I wanted to try.

My boyfriend got a breakfast set and I got a German hotdog with salsa. The food was ok but it’s cheap!

This place is a good brunch place since they have a lot of seats available. Their dishes are also generous in portion and their coffee drinks are good. The servers are also very nice and kind. It might get packed so try to reserve beforehand. The menu has some English but you can also just look at Google Maps for the photos. Foreign and local credit cards...
