The Who Cafe — Restaurant in Da'an District

Seen from the street it's a catchy classic rock name for foreigners, but, like a new band you're going out to, does it deliver? Yes, this is a cool casual place. Cafes in Taipei, it seems, need a hook to pull us in and stay afloat above the endless competition. My lemon soda had a squishy little bunny stuck to the glass, and there was a pink cat paw spoon and crazy straw. There's Wifi and electric outlets abound. I ate braised chicken thigh with flavored rice and some veggies. Tastes good and clean. Christmas songs in English were on the radio. I did enter, however, assuming this was an independent establishment but when I looked it up on Google Maps I saw there were others. As long as they are not too busy, patrons are welcome to park themselves and chill. Oh, and cats - Taipei's ubiquitous feline themes are played up here, too. But not...

It's a beautiful café with nice services. And their kitties Chichi and Chuntao were so adorable!

This café is known for their kitty milk foam toppings. I didn't order it because I'm allergic to both caffeine and lactose.

What surprised me was their dishes. I didn't expect a café can prepare such amazing food.

I ordered the Huadiao Chicken Rice Noodle (noodle soup). It tasted better than some restaurants!!

Huadiao (also known as Nu'er Hong) is a kind of wine made in Zhejiang Province of mainland China. It is quite common for ethnic Chinese to use wine in cooking.

The server will serve the noodle soup first, and then add the wine (lest the alcohol would be evaporated while cooking).

I would definitely visit this...

Their service was really good, the waiter was always on the look out for anything you might need. We were just watching him pet Loki the cat and he thought we needed something. Very attentive in every aspect.

The salad is really really really big omg, took me forever to finish. But it’s good in case ur hungry and need some fiber lol. They are also generous with the nuts.

As to the cats, I don’t really see Thor much. U might see Loki all the time tho. He’s such an adorable loaf of bread, just laying there and letting u pet him 🥺

Need to order a drink or waffles/sundae to stay for two hours, and if u want to stay longer u need to order again. So yeah a bit pricey but...
