Qi Shang Xiao Fashi is a beef tongue specialty restaurant in Taipei that is known for its delicious beef tongue and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is located on a quiet street in an elegant setting. The interior of the restaurant is simple but comfortable. The menu features a variety of beef tongue dishes, including grilled beef tongue, beef tongue sushi, and beef tongue hot pot. The beef tongue is all sliced and cooked to perfection, and it is absolutely delicious. The service at the restaurant is also friendly, and the staff are always happy to make recommendations for guests.

In addition to the delicious beef tongue, the restaurant also has a very cute dog. The dog's name is Strong. Strong is very gentle and friendly, and he loves to interact with guests. He often walks around the restaurant, attracting the attention of guests.

Overall, Qi Shang Xiao Fashi is a very worthwhile beef tongue specialty restaurant to visit. The delicious beef tongue, friendly atmosphere, and cute dog make for an unforgettable...

I made a reservation for 2 via Facebook messenger, and was greeted very warmly there.

Service was amazing from start to end and the owner patiently explained the menu to my wife and I.

Starters were great (seasoned edamame and daikon) and the owner was nice enough to give me a refill when he noticed I had finished mine. They also serve a free flow of tea.

Main courses were great, a generous portion for the prices paid, and comparable to some of the best gyutan meals I’ve had in Japan. I went for a standard gyutan set and my wife had the premium cut gyutan. I’ve never seen this before and apparently you can only obtain one cut from each tongue.

The sides were also very good. Dessert was a choice of ice cream (Häagen-Dazs - they had an interesting Lotus Biscoff flavour) and an orange.

The meal was one of my highlights to my trip to Taipei, and I would highly recommend...

Amazing gyutan in Taipei. It is very rare to find japanese beef tongue in Taiwan, let alone a restaurant that serve exactly the same as the one in Japan Sendai. What you pay for is what you get and it is worth every bite.

Had the chance to spoke to the boss a little, and found out he is also a fan of Sendai Gyutan, who even went to Sendai lots of time to figure out the perfect beef tongue.

I highly recommend everyone to try this and you will not be disappointed! This will be my go-to restaurant everytime i return back to...
