No respect for customers. Will not recommend.
I came here alone for lunch. Server Eric was friendly and working hard to make me feel welcome. Management should reward Eric. Without him, I will give this experience one star.
Food quality was good. Environment was clean and modern. They took their time to explain the food. All was good until a waitress used my bbq space cooking for other table. After my grilling portion was done, my grill was removed. I sat at bar and just started enjoy my vegetable, rice and soup. A very hot bbq grill showed up again in front of me without explanation. I could feel the heat in my face. My grill was not this hot. I told Eric the grill is too hot for my face, then he moved the grill back a little bit. Few mins later, a waitress started grilling first round of meat on that grill. I knew they are not for me. I thought she just used it for this time. I was wrong. After first round, , she grilled 2nd round. She was cooking for 5 to 6 people at a time. I was under heat and a lot of white smoke. Finally, when she almost finished 2nd round, she looked at me and asked is it still too hot? I said there are a lot of smoke. I thought she will stop grilling in front of me. But she started 3rd round of grilling. I could not wait to get out of there. My eyes were red and itchy. This restaurant has no respect for customers. It is rude to cook other customers' food in front of another customer. A customer pays for a meal. That includes his food, time, and space -- the whole experience. I suffered the heat and smoke without getting any food. This is ridiculous. This restaurant aims for high quality food, environment, and service because of the high ticket prices. They failed...

Though a premium dining experience, every bite justified the expense, serenading our senses with unparalleled culinary artistry.
As the evening unfolded, a surprise awaited us – a birthday cake, symbolizing Rakuken Wagyu's exceptional touch in making special occasions truly memorable.

Read moreHad high hopes of dining here for our anniversary and the overall experience was underwhelming, especially considering the expensive price paid. Have had better wagyu dining experiences in Hawaii and CA. Never acknowledged our anniversary once despite noting it in our reservation. Meanwhile, the table next to us were given ice cream and a special chocolate cake for their celebratory meal. When our meal ended, we were sitting there for over 20 minutes waiting for our bill or anyone to come by and acknowledge us. It’s hard to be ignored in a restaurant this small with only a handful of tables in the entire restaurant and only 3 other tables dining at the time. To top it all off, we were charged $320 NT for regular water, which I couldn’t read the receipt and didn’t realize until after I left and used google translate to figure out what the added charge was for. Would have done that while at the restaurant but the server was hovering over me the whole time so I just gave him my card thinking a place like this would not mess up the bill. All in all, save your money, way better food options for a fraction of the...
