Snail Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Da'an District

One of the most unpleasant Italian dining experiences in recent times: obnoxious service staff (the service manager in particular), super-long waiting time (actually they confirmed that the kitchen “overlooked” my order, 35 mins later, after I’ve asked two waiters to check the status), and soggy pasta. I can deal with obnoxious, maybe even the long wait, if the food is worth it. But pasta sogginess, my good ness, is blasphemy to the craft of Italian pasta (let’s not mention the super-shrunk seafood of this “luxurious” dish as claimed on menu.) So this luxurious seafood pasta, is way below average. Oh well. Then I turn to my kids’ dish of steak over spaghetti with red wind tomato sauce. This time the pasta was not soggy all right, but the steak was super tough. So tough neither the kids nor myself could deal with properly without a grinder — which I beveled they didn’t have. Overall, the experience was subjective (shared by my family), and was rather unfortunate. I think we would never return to this place as long as there are any other Italian places still...

看得出有精心擺盤，至於海鮮義大利麵的醬汁算是清炒，頗訝異細扁麵不會說偏硬!!我覺得特別的海鮮料，有炸透抽!!海鮮新鮮且炸得酥脆，蠻有造型的一道料理，蝦子有幫去殼，留下蝦頭的部分 ⠀⠀⠀⠀ *📌套餐：+$180 開胃菜：巴達諾起司蔬菜烘蛋 烘蛋溫度比我想像還要低溫，常溫那種，但不失他多層次口感，視覺看側面頗多餡料 湯：西西里蛤蠣湯 番茄魚高清湯，是溫暖開胃的湯品 甜點：加價$50點冰淇淋布朗尼 布朗尼蛋糕基體太濕軟，有點在危險程度的邊緣，再軟一些口感會怪異，可能加熱關係，上面香草冰淇淋瞬間融化，喜歡味蕾冷熱交融的衝突感 飲品：加購$60的義大利香甜酒 對香甜酒百般期待，送上一小酒杯啜飲一口，媽啊!!酒精味非常的醇厚搶細，嚴重蓋過久的香甜，都是純酒精味，酒精濃度高，一開始建議小小口試飲，不然會食道灼傷，真心覺得不用加購酒，點普通飲料就好 ⠀⠀⠀⠀ *✏️兩個人點了兩份主餐，建議+1份套餐就好...

Nice environment suitable for families. Service from staff was excellent. We had a problem with some water dripping from ceiling, quickly arranged another table for us.

Pasta and pizza we ordered was not so authentic but the taste was pretty good. Dessert size was slightly on the small side.

Pricing is fair for what we got....
