義式屋古拉爵 Café Grazie 花蓮遠百店 — Restaurant in Hualien City

Went here with my wife while shopping at the store, and it's by far the worst eating experience we've had in Hualien, probably in all of Taiwan. We ordered two lattes and asked for them to be brought with the main meals - vegetable and mushroom pizza with truffle sauce for me, chicken pasta for her. Also ordered a chocolate dessert.

The pizza was awful. The base was completely tasteless, the 'vegetables' consisted of nothing but uncooked lettuce leaves sprinkled on top, and there was no truffle sauce at all, rather a pretty horrible sweet-tasting sauce. Seriously bad, but I was starving so I ate most of it. My wife noticed something weird about her chicken, and decided to cut open a piece to take a look. It was barely cooked at all, almost totally raw on the inside. Obviously this can cause serious food poisoning and is one of the most basic things for even an amateur chef to check.

On top of all this, twenty minutes after ordering there was still no coffee. After complaining about the raw chicken we asked about it, and somebody went to check. Five minutes later they returned with two cups of coffee which had clearly been made ages ago and simply left standing there. All the foam had dried up and stained the edges of the cup. I sipped a little, and it tasted almost as bad as instant coffee.

After this we couldn't take any more. We left the coffees, cancelled the dessert, and got out. Definitely never...

I got catfished by the food pictures and restaurant ambience. My truffle risotto tasted and looked like dog food. Risotto was supposed to be creamy.. mine was runny like a porridge. For the money they charge it was not worth it. Never going back again. The dessert was another disappointment....
