We heard many recommendations and even a local recommendation so we decided we must try it.
Summary: It taste just OKAY
Short line at opening of shop at 9:30AM and orders came pretty quick. We just ordered the standard wonton soup.
I don't know if we ordered wrong or what but the meat wontons were the most standard wontons I have eaten. It was fresh. Dough was thin and cooked well. Meat was fully cooked and tasted fresh. But it lacked flavors.
The amount of wontons was fair for the price. But again, my group is Chinese people and we had wontons in many restaurants and these wontons are not worth waiting in line for. They are standard wontons that we could find in any other restaurant.
I was not the one ordering but I told my brother to order the standard wonton bowl so I assume it must be the most popular one.
Anyways. Very disappointing driving there and waiting in line.
Again, if you are closeby then worth checking out. But not worth taking a taxi there or to wait more than 5 mins for this. It is really standard...

By 11:30am all the seats were full. They only sell one thing. These dumpling soups at 70NT each. Must try because this is the specialty of Hualien but not really anything special because it's like wontons soup... Nice on a cold...
