After trying the famous Lin Deng Fong Beef noodle in Taipei, I decided to try this as I was craving more beef noodle. Luckily for me, it was a two minute walk from where I was staying.

Went here before any lunch or dinner rush so didn't have to wait to get seated.

The beef noodle was outstanding. The broth was lighter and slightly sweeter. The noodles... mmmmm, perfectly cooked al dente and in my opinion better than the previous mentioned place. The beef was very good too but not as flavourful or tender but definitely not underwhelming by any standards.

Also try the tofu and century egg. The tofu was silky smooth and and the added sweet sauce complements entire dish.

Four bowls, a few appetizers and a couple beers later and the bill was only 600 NTD.

First of all they have English menu neatly done woohoo !!! 🥳 I don’t usually like to eat the beef noodles with beef just the broth plus sauce and great noodles will do. So for the first time I just order a large dry beef noodle and the staff was very nice to let me change the beef to beef tendons. Very kind staff ❤️ The noodles are thick and chewy similar to the texture of the udon noodles. Not a big fan but I still enjoyed it. But OMG u MUST TRY the beef tendons! Was recommended this place by a local fellow worker. So I came with rather high expectation only to leave disappointed. The broth is decently flavorful yet not heavy.
