This is the street food at its best. Small menu with 7 items, 5 of them are various style of soups. The main item - (glutinous) rice steamed in a metal cylindric cup topped with minced pork sauce tastes great that could pair with any one of the 5 soups listed on the menu. If you would like to take one step further treating your palates, order the black egg. The egg white part is cooked till it's like, well as it is called in Taiwan, iron egg like. I don't think the food would be considered a meal like lunch or dinner, but you may enjoy them in any time of the day. You many either sit inside the restaurant which is not enclosed in walls or outside on the sidewalk. Came here for lunch one afternoon. Arrived to a very long queue. Took 20-30 min before we could make our order but the its worth the wait. The sticky rice is tasty and moist how I like it but I like the steamed egg soup. I haven't seen it anywhere before and its a great idea of a dish. The portion is not big which is just right as sticky rice can fill you up quickly. But the dishes are very cheap that you can get a few more if you are up for it.

The down side is finding a seat, there is no organization to it. Its free for all. If you are going with more than one person, its best to have one queuing and the others looking for seats. If you go there alone probably best to get a takeaway instead.
