Hometown Beef Noodles — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Coming from Los Angeles and knowing that Taiwan has good beef noodle restaurants, I was expecting more from this place. Instead, I was disappointed here. Prices are high for what you get. My 4 and 6 year old children finished their noodle soup quickly as portions were small. At 150 NT for a bowl -this is considered pricey especially for the portion size received. I thought the soup was a bit bland too. I think it's safe to say you can literally walk into the next random beef noodle soup restaurant and it will be better...

Thoroughly enjoyed the dry beef noodles here at Hometown Beef Noodles. The noodles are thick and perfectly cooked for a great texture. The slight bit of broth/sauce on the noodles was so tasty, especially when mixing a small amount with the side of broth. The beef in the soup was deboned and extremely tender and falling apart 🤤.
