Hands down the best steaks and steakhouse food in Kaohsiung. I've been to all the steakhouses in various "top" lists but no one mentioned this place. I actually stumbled upon this and was skeptical to see 4.9 stars. However it's well deserved!

The staff, food, experience, etc are all perfect. Staff are attentive and thoughtful. Even the chairs were so comfortable! The washroom also has 1-time use mouth wash lol. I've only seen this at ultra expensive places.

All our dishes arrived perfectly just like you see in advertisements and most importantly taste impeccable too. Another major selling point is the fact that they take care to listen to what we like and make suitable suggestions on the type of cut, portion, and temperature of the steaks.

Not just steaks. Soup, salads, bread, fried rice balls, sauteed mushrooms, spaghetti, dessert everything was made with high quality ingredients and taste amazing. However, just like all Western dessert recipes, the locals thought the brownie was too sweet--I agree but it tastes exactly like in North America haha.

Price wise, it's a great deal when compared to "fancy" steakhouses in the city but you get much better food and service. Can't rave about this enough and will definitely be spending more special occasions here!

Can't beat the steak! Best I've had in Taiwan for sure (other than home cooked costso at our son's house)😃. Top quality. So tender. No gristle. You will not be disappointed. Sam the chef will consult with you about what kind of steak you want and how to cook it. We got the aged T-bone and sirloin. I liked the T-bone better, more flavor. But sirloin also top floor taste. Sides we're also good as well as dessert.

Atmosphere was appropriate. Not too big a place. Ned to step up for toilets so not the best for handicapped folks. Was a bit noisy but they immediately turned it down upon request. They also adjusted the temperature since it was a bit cold when we arrived.

One word of caution - you get what you pay for and...

The BBQ house was amazing. We’ve been waiting to try it out and it was well worth the wait. All of the steak options are picked directly from the case. Super fresh and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were great. We ordered a combo that included soup, drinks and dessert. The combo was well priced and the apple pie and ice cream was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. He knew the menu well and answered all of our questions.
