It’s a hole in the wall type thing. It’s close to a 7-11 and a milk tea shop. One of the serves noticed we looked confused and she called a few server who could speak English and I was so grateful for that!
She led us to a menu that had an English translation - it is glued to the table - but we were able to order food we could eat and it was pleasant enough.

Koufu Oden is a hidden gem of Taiwanese local snacks. I ordered the grilled intestine, Taiwanese sausage, oden skewers, and pig heart vermicelli soup. The grilled items had a delightful smoky flavor—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
The pig heart soup (豬心冬粉, Pig Heart Vermicelli Soup) was surprisingly tender and not at all gamey, with a light yet flavorful broth. The oden items were decent, and I really liked that you could help yourself to extra soup and sauces. However, the “scallion instant noodles” (油蔥泡麵) were a bit of a letdown—basically instant noodles with minced pork, priced at NT$40. A bit overpriced.
Crowded, but worth the wait. Definitely a spot I’d revisit for a satisfying Taiwanese street...
