YUYU pâtisserie — Restaurant in New Taipei

Make sure you make a reservation before you go there. Find it odd and irrational for whatever cafe to have a reservation system. It’s not a restaurant, consumer search it through social media to check-out nice places/food.

Wasted your time and trip and got notified that you need to reserve for a table unless you are willing to wait for the next 2 hours for a table. This is not friendly to new consumer who wants to try out for the first time.

Or at least put a notice that to dine in require to make a reservation before you visit. Ain’t anybody got time to waste their weekends just to run around and...

The desserts were decent and the atmosphere is cute. Reservation recommended especially on weekends as they get very busy. A one drink per person minimum even if you order multiple desserts - this is a crazy rule! When I asked the staff why do I need to order drinks if I have already ordered 4 desserts they responded well do you want to remove some dessert from your order?……… They also ended up forgetting one of the drinks they made me order… I had to go remind them for it after 20 minutes and we had already finished most...

Mille feuille in this exquisite driftwood style.

This is not a typical mille feuille so regular standards don’t work here. The pastries are crispy, but not snappy nor fluffy. The custard is definitely undersweetened that even with caramel they still not sweet enough together, at least not to a dessert level.

But do I like this combination in my mouth? I mean, please keep it coming.
