We went there pretty late for lunch, at about 2, and waited for 14 groups before us. They offer a scanned code with link to see your queue, which was convenient.
The view was very pretty, interior design was great, very typical of those instagram worthy brunch spots. What I don’t understand was why there were so many empty tables, like about 12 of them but the restaurant still made newins wait for a very long time. We waited for about 35 mins. This is ridiculous, very bad arrangement of customer fleet.
We had peanut butter whole wheat pancakes, truffle fries, a salmon dish that came with side fries and a sunny side up egg, and a tiramisu. For drinks we got an Earl Grey (Twinnings) and an Apple juice.
For the salmon dish, it took like 30 mins to come out, fries was served first, then the sunny side up alone and got super cold before the salmon arrived.
The truffle fries was ok, a bit too fried and hard on the outside though. Portion for everything was very weird and portion ratio between sides and main was absurd. Main was too small and 2 people can’t even finish a side.
Not being a food critic here, but it billed somewhat 2200 NTD, we were expecting something better.
Hope that could give ACME some good constructive things to work on, otherwise you are overcharging for almost everything. I guess it’s...
Read moreOur booking was at 11:30am and most of the food was “sold out “ which is impossible. The kitchen just prepared very limited for the food which has the high cost for them and they say to customers “sold out”. Dear Acme boss or managers please find more professional excuses, not cheap excuses. The taste is very normal, compared to others( I am going to mention about them at the end) We ordered below items; Strawberry fig French toast: the strawberries is not organic(simply, just google “organic and non-organic strawberry” then u will understand what I mean) the thing they serve with it it is not honey, just a syrup. This is not your food If u care about your health and calorie. Signature tuna Patties egg Benedict: very normal taste, anywhere can eat it. Roasted mixed vegetables shakshuka: it is a big meal, definitely you will feel full after finishing it , the taste is the same with everywhere.
Drinks: Camellia latte: okay to drink Caffe latte: family mart and 7-11 is a better-option comparing to acme’s latte.
Waiter and waitress: they r nice and polite. Their hands and nails are all clean. Good job guys, appreciate you all.
Environment and Atmosphere: is good . Very high ceiling , cool and fresh.

Read moreFood is mediocre at best. Non-alcoholic beverages (orange juice, lime tea, and matcha latte) are pretty good, but got the steak rigatoni with truffle foam which tasted bland with truffle “spit”, the pasta was over cooked and steak was drowning in said foam (wrong part of meat for wrong kind of application), chewy and not cooked with any taste. The tuna benedict, was a mistake, menu did not specify it is fried, and called it a benedict when it wasn’t on English muffins, or any bread in fact, the sauce was an underwhelming version of hollandaise, the smoked salmon under the poached eggs, I suppose was the only pleasant surprise in the whole thing. the giant plate it came on felt sad in absence of accoutrement that might normally accompany the “benedict” (just use a normal sized plate instead of a giant one??)
Overall impression, if a restaurant is going to value main dishes or even snacks at the price it does ($300+, upwards of $1800), and charge a service fee for party of TWO, then I’d expect attention to detail that deserves the price tag.
It’s too bad, we were absolutely excited to have some good western food, but at this rate we won’t be returning any time soon.
go for the truffle fries and the beverages, otherwise AVOID at all cost. NOT WORTH the wait nor the...
