Arrived at 9pm and grabbed a number! There were at least 10 groups in front of us 😱 so popular
The portions are huge! If can’t eat too much, better not to go for the “sets for 2 people” poster at the door. One person may not end up finishing all their veggies as they provide 2 huge vegetable plates.
As everyone said, the soup base is super full of flavor and goes so well with everything!
Don’t dip the thin slices of beef short rib for too long, it gets tough quickly! The pork slices are more forgiving if your cooking technique is poor haha but both are yummy. Seafood was super fresh! Prawns 🦐 easy to peel and very sweet!
The set allows you to choose a carbohydrate - I recommend the braised pork rice (out of plain rice and other noodles), the melty fat is totally on point.
The provided egg can be dropped into the pot at the end into your ladle to be poached, or beaten to drizzle like an egg drop soup. So good 🤤
Despite being super full, there is always space for free flow soft serve ice cream 🍦 (I think they taste better than the scooped ice cream)

Highly Recommended for their great cheap foods. We went for their "Meats and Seafood Two Person Set Menu NT$780" at noon on Sep 30, 2017. The meats were okay, well expected for the price we paid for. On the other hand, the seafood, especially the squids, were horrifyingly unfresh. Squid meat foretaste was tasteless and the aftertaste rotten seafood. When we were paying at the cashier, the cashier clerk asked how was our meal and I softly told them the squid was not so fresh. The cashier clerk, an elderly guy, then said that the squids were highly praised by other customers. So, I guess it was just an isolated quality incident in our case then. LOL. Anyway I thought I'd come here to share my experience with you, and in despite the seafood saga, I enjoyed talking to the waitress aunties who were always smiling and willing to talk to you about anything. Dieses alte HotPot-Restaurant ist sehr beliebt, sodass immer sehr viele Leute draussen anstehen um einen Platz zu bekommen. Die Tische sind für teilweise 12 Personen aneinandergereiht, jeder hat einen eigenen HotPot. Sie Suppengrundsubstanz besteht hier aus Brühe mit weißen Zuckerrohrsaft. Diese Kombination schmeckt einzigartig und sehr lecker, dabei ist sie nicht zu süß hat aber einen hervorragenden Geschmack. Jeder Gast bekomme einen Teller mit Gemüse, Pilzen und eine kleine Auswahl an Fleisch- und Fischbällchen. Dazu wird jeweils individuell feingeschnittenen Fleisch (Rind, Schwein oder Geflügel), verschiedenste Fischsorten, Meeresfrüchte und Garnelen, sowie weiteres Gemüse bestellt werden. Die Soßen können in der Mitte des Restaurant selbst zusammengestellt werden. Sehr gut ist auch, dass es kostenlos eine Getränkebar mit Slush-Getränken, Sprite und Cola sowie einigen Säften gibt.
