823 Artillery Battle Memorial Park — Attraction in Taipei

This is a memorial for the August 23, 1958 gun battle and built in 2015, about 55 years too late. For years there was no official memorial park in Taipei because politics. There are several memorial parks at other cities in Taiwan. The park ground is at a triangle ground at the base of the the Grand Hotel, passing the tunnel coming from the west. There are display of two types of cannon and one type of jet plane used in the conflict. There is no parking and no bus stop near by.
