The portion of the food is tiny and the food is over priced. The pork and beef we've got is like twelve tiny pieces of paper. The veggie dish is the smallest one that I've ever seen in a shabu shabu restaurant, just like the meat dish. You would assume the quality should be better with such a little portion and annoy so cheap price, but sadly, tons of other places beat this one easily.
There's no water provided in the restaurant, when I asked for some water for my son, the owner, with a straight face that says, why do you need water?!?!?!?! , showed me an opened water bottle and said that's the only thing she has.
Service is horrible, they never refill our tea. We need to keep asking them to refill our soup. The owner gave me an attitude when my son accidentally spill some water. My son is just a baby. He didn't do it on purpose but in the owner's eyes he did. She gave us a dirty look and threw a towel on the table to wipe the water. With all the little noice my son made, she gave us more dirty looks.
Due to the traffic, my sister arrived late, when all my family members were done eating, she ordered the meat pot first but then she decided to get the seafood pot afterwards. We didn't know it takes at least 15-20 mins for them to prepare the seafood, and the owner didn't tell us either. We asked them about the seafood dish when my sister's done with all her meat and most of the veggies. The owner gave us more dirty looks and said it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare it!!!!! She was standing behind me, I seriously feel like if we asked other stupid questions, she's going to punch me.
