Dong Yin Eatery Main Store — Restaurant in Songshan District

One of the things friends always tell me they miss most from their visit to Taiwan is a good 牛肉麵/beef noodles. When you think about it, none of our neighbors does this as well as Taiwan. You may not find beef noodles in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, or Japan they way Taiwan does it. So in a sense 牛肉麵 is one of Taiwan's pride in the culinary world.

Recently my buddies introduced me to 東引小吃店. Know that I am an avid beef noodle lover and a fair share of beef noodles. 東引 emerges on top as one of my favorites for a 牛肉乾麵 (beef, noodles, no soup). It is full flavored with amazing taste while not too salty. I recommend treating yourself to a big bowl if you are hungry. You may order any of their selection of soups (small is enough) and couple with 滷菜 / stewed dishes. I recommend getting some stewed tofu, radish, tendons, and intestines. Add some of their hot sauce and boom, you are good to go on your culinary delight that will have you thinking about the next time you go back to...

Braised Pork Rice (Small: $40, Large: $60) was quite delicious and the pork was nicely cooked. The sticky texture with meaty taste had always been my favourite part of this dish.

Pork Lard Mixed Rice (Small: $40, Large: $60) was topped with some green onions and chillies, which was distinctive. Its taste also differed from the typical pork lard mixed rice.

Nevertheless, in comparison to that, Pork Lard Dry Noodles (Small: $50, Large: $80) had the original pork lard flavour. Both of them tasted amazing and definitely worth it. Cheap price, high quality, speedy service and great portions. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

———————————— 先從環境說起好了 環境：在市場內，有路邊桌也有一個內用區

路邊桌，就在馬路上，想當然耳沒有冷氣，但看上去還算乾淨，地板也沒看到什麼垃圾或是食物的殘渣（⚠️是我自己沒什麼看到👀）可能是收桌的姐姐有在顧

內用區，有冷氣、洗手台、盥洗室🚻（一間） 盥洗室就普普，不能說乾淨也稱不上髒亂，至少能上，異味少少🤏，畢竟多人使用；廁所裡面可以洗手，餐具櫃旁邊也可以洗手，隨時都能清潔，個人覺得還不錯👍 桌數放的比較多，其實有點擁擠，動線不太好，但這可能會是店家的問題，我自己是都過得去，所以還好

看到在嫌環境的，東引就開在市場裡面，知道了、也看到了還願意買，嫌小嫌鼻嫌三小，純純無語🙄

餐點的部分

滷味都滿入味的，但是滷味不是熱的，會介意的朋友別點 不吃辣的朋友也需要注意，東引淋滷味的醬油，裡面可能原本就有放少許辣椒🌶️變成辣椒醬油，是不會太辣，但吃不了一點辣的記得提醒店家（不要只提醒一次）我們就只提醒一次，所有餐點不加辣，結果店家忘記🫥 推薦點花乾、蘿蔔、牛肚、鴨胗 滷味份量不多，而且滷味本來就偏貴一點點🤏，可能在不知不覺下就很多錢了

紅油抄手 💰忘記了，以後有去在補 紅油看起來是真的紅，紅油聞起來很香，但個人覺得完全不辣，麻一點點🤏 抄手本來內餡就不多了，沒想到來的時候感覺比一般的抄手在少上一點，而且感覺內餡應該有混粗（推測白醋，應該不是水果醋）咽下去有點微酸 個人覺得紅油抄手表現普普，可以試試看，但沒有到必點這樣

招牌麵 💰忘記了，以後有去在補 招牌麵是麻醬+牛油，如果點麻醬麵又不排斥牛油，建議直接點招牌麵；麵體的感覺普普，但麻醬給的是真不少，麻醬聞起來有香但不多，加了牛油聞起來才比較香，相加是有加成效果的；但吃下去味道就沒有這麼的明顯，吃起來比較清淡一點

餛飩乾麵 💰忘記了，以後有去在補 餛飩皮偏厚了一點，麵普普

牛油拌面（或是豬油拌麵） 💰忘記了，以後有去在補 香氣還可以，但跟招牌麵一樣，吃下去跟聞到的差的比較多；個人覺得這個拌面不適合點大碗，我們當天吃，到後來會有點膩，招牌麵反而比較還好

燙青菜🥬 蠻大一盤的，味道沒有很重口，還算可以接受 但是‼️但是‼️但是‼️ 吃到最後發現，盤子底下都是油，但對於我個人是沒差

滷肉飯 💰忘記了，以後有去在補 一般的滷肉飯，有膠質感，但不會太濕太多汁，肉的份量也不會太少
