花吃了豆 — Restaurant in Taichung

Saw this place on IG and was interested in giving this place to try. I think there was something special like the roasted beancurd that caught my attention and was told they serve limited portions a day so tried to make it early to visit the shop. Not too difficult to find, it's located at the junction of a rather big traffic junction. Place was quiet and empty when I visited. Not sure how to order, I was given a card and a marker to follow the steps to choose what I wanted. It's quite cheap, ordered the roasted beancurd and added 3 toppings for 70TWD. Paid and the staff started preparing while I got a seat and was served when the dessert was ready. Portion was decent and the toppings given were also rather generous. Was a little disappointed by the term 'Roasted beancurd' when it actually was like creme brulee style where they just put sugar on top and torched it. Wonder why would this be something which only has limited servings a day. Overall was okay, nothing special to rave about. Though the lady told me like I could request for some sugar or soya bean to add to the dessert, I didn't and I felt that the dessert was a little dry.
