Came here for a quick dinner on a rainy day, and this place was very interesting! Its decor was a mixture of whimsical and quirky Japanese elements, alongside modern Japanese comics and figurine-related things, pretty much like Shin-chan and other cute stuff. 😊
It's pretty much an Izakaya in a very hole-in-the-wall setting. I have to say that the price point here was on the slightly steeper end, but I didn't mind because of the very comfortable atmosphere and the japanese izakaya kind of cosy vibes. It was more like a small group table kind of setting.
The boss is pretty rad 😎, and they had one server on the ground that day. The food came pretty fast, considering there were only two people, and the drinks here were an average of about 180 Taiwan dollars. I highly recommend the shiitake mushrooms and the yaki gyoza, which comes on a hot plate. The food was good but nothing sophisticated. The beer was cold. The food is prepared in a cabin taking up about 1/3 of the restaurant space.
