I went on a Sunday and it was so empty with so many vendors and shops! The bottom floor is filled with jewelry, tea pots, bowls and antiques and on the second floor I found the coolest clothing store. The guy who owns it has clothing mainly from India, Tibet and Thailand and it’s reasonably priced, I’m definitely going again.

第一次來光復玉市，位置靠近台中火車站、中國醫藥大學醫院附近！旁邊剛好的是公園！ 玉市周圍不太好停車，尤其是汽車，整體面積很大，除了裡面之外、周圍也都是滿滿的小攤販、店家，即使不買，來這裡逛逛也是很不錯的，因為這裡除了玉石外，也有些茶葉、瓷器可以選擇，算是滿多元的！ 店家很多，無論是成品、半成品、配件、材料都有，因為店家太多，所以價格、品質也都有落差，建議多看看比較，大間的不一定好、小間的也沒有比較差，多數的商家攤販都很友善，不會因為你問、看而不耐煩，也不會一直強迫推銷！ 但其實還是有改進的空間，因為建築物比較老舊，所以動線的標示、整潔、遮蔽也就不太好，如果有管理委員會，應該可以在這塊改善一下！感覺這裡的環境比台北的建國玉市還要糟糕！如果改善應該會很棒的！

公園玉市,有很多玉石商家集中在此,不少是從原來在文心路的玉市轉移過來來.此處早期被稱為合作大樓,從1967年落成到今有四十年頭了,是一個充滿回憶的地方,此處座落在當時名列台灣八大景之一的台中公園旁邊,裡面有兩間當時一流的電影院,聯美戲院與豪華戲院,從早到晚都是車水馬龍人潮滾滾一店難求.對照現在的情況,實在是不堪回首.今天路過時不期看到"豪華大戲院"的招牌還在,不由自主的進去走了一圈,玉市還沒開市,裡面看起來感覺就是空空蕩蕩的,沒有霓虹燈招牌只有拉下的鐵門,還有三三兩兩幾個徐娘貓女,欲言又止...說不上來,就是整個眼前畫面都蒼蒼涼涼灰藍灰藍,靜靜的悶悶的...直到走了出來,外面的車流聲與陽光才把我的思緒拉了回來...

台中市[光復玉市]亦有人稱為[公園玉市]-因為[光復玉市]與[臺中公園]都有一邊是面對[公園路]，[光復玉市]是台中市第一處大型的玉石/紅藍綠寶石⋯等等類相關商品批發零售市場(有店面型/攤位型)。#(1)光復玉市]之前身是一座[綜合商業大樓]在都市發展-各式的新興大樓百貨業不斷出現與商圈變化的影響下，此座[綜合商業大樓]內的商家營運情況即每況愈下，而原在此[綜合商業大樓]內的商家紛紛結束營業。(2)大樓的主要業主就採取規劃措施將[綜合商業大樓]內之一樓及二樓規劃設置成-店面型/攤位型⋯來出租。(3)因為此[綜合商業大樓]內原本就有數家經營玉石的相關商家，也就吸引了許多以販售玉石/各種寶石相關商品的業者紛紛來此處租攤位營業#這也可說稱為[光復玉市]之一緣由吧！#(5)[光復玉市]設有大小不同之店面型/攤位型，其中包含有玉石/紅藍綠寳石/礸石⋯相關各式商品(手擉-戒子-念珠-玉佩⋯等等)/各種泡茶具組(茶盤-茶壺-茶杯⋯)各種茶葉/木石之各種大小彫像(佛-觀音-達摩-藝品⋯等等)/多種二手貨#有不少人會到此尋寶(所謂的古董)“筆者”建請[尋寶者-愛古董者]在決定要購入[古董]前務必[自己具備深厚的各種古董知識]才能夠做為觀察審評與判斷[您要購入的古董真偽]，也才不會[真錢買仿貨]。#此[玉市]無設置停車場欲來此之緣好朋友們-汔車/機車/腳踏車⋯都必須自己想辦法在附近道路停車格位去停放喔！#[光復玉市]雖然在相關網站都有顯示是上午8點30分至下午5點30分]，但“筆者”要以自己無數次親自造訪的經驗提供緣好的朋友們參考，[光復玉市]內外各種店面型/攤位型之營業時間~絕大多數都是在星期六上午10點30左右至下午3點左右，所以請有意來此...

I didn't buy anything. It seems like many of the vendors are dishonest and willing to take advantage of tourists. Hard to tell what is real and fake. Pretty small area. Very dark and there were prostitutes at...
