Liuchuan Riverside Walk — Attraction in Taichung

Had a lot of time to kill so I had the pleasure of coming by here both during the day and after sunset.

During the day it's not so impressive. Just some nice landscaping and shells of decoration on the "river" (more like a canal that has a dam on it). However at night the place comes alive. All the decisions have beautiful lighting and the plants and trees on the river side are also lit up beautifully.

In addition, there was music playing in the background and under one of the bridges there were some talented street musicians. One girl playing the violin in particular I thought to be quite skilled.

All in all its a nice place but I would definitely say to come in the evening and not...

A nice, peaceful stroll watching the water flow. Some parts are filled with fish, including two orange and one white goldfish. I couldn't help but follow the white fish as it glided gracefully with its long tail.

The park's lands and waterways are well kept by landscaping staff. But unfortunately, I saw and disposed of a plastic bag and foam fruit cushion that some inconsiderate jerk left on the side of the waterway. People really need to do better to be considerate of the environment instead of leaving their trash wherever they go. DON'T be...

Peaceful and clean... I love those Willow trees.. I wonder where are those Old and big Willow trees which was previously planted there about a decade. What happened to them... I wonder ??? Why they are not place back.. They could enhance this place even more with its historical aged Willow trees... Since this stream is name so ......柳川 ！ Although it's been recreational.. I still missed the Big Older Willow...
