Overall, this is a highly recommended Izakaya restaurant, with delicious food, great ambiance, and fair price. Food quality: Every dish was freshly made, and the flavors were well balanced. Each of them only costed roughly 60-100 dollars, which was relatively cheap compared to other Izakaya restaurants in Taichung. Moreover, all types of roasted meat was tender but not greasy. One of my favorite food was grilled with with mentaiko. I loved the buttery flavor of mentaiko added to such juicy chicken thigh. Environment: The environment was very clean and well-lit. Seats were spacious. It was a pet friendly restaurant, where you could see cute dogs, such as a golden retriever and a shiba inu. They were always enthusiastic to interact with customers. Service: The staff was friendly and always actively to help us whenever we had questions. However, there was no online order system. Tucked away like a hidden gem, this cozy izakaya delivers a true taste of Japan with both finesse and comfort. The seared scallop and shrimp donburi was a standout — tender, sweet scallops lightly torched to bring out a smoky aroma, paired beautifully with plump shrimp, citrusy sudachi, and a sprinkle of green onions over perfectly seasoned rice. Every bite was rich yet refreshing.

The grilled pork skewers were another highlight — juicy, slightly charred, and glazed with a savory-sweet sauce that hit the umami spot just right. Balanced, simple, and deeply satisfying.

To round things off, the deep-fried tofu was delicately crisp on the outside and silky soft within, topped with shredded seaweed and served with a light dipping sauce. It was a comforting, earthy contrast to the other dishes, showing off the chef’s attention to texture and detail.

Paired with a chilled glass of The Premium Malts, this meal struck the perfect balance between indulgence and simplicity. A must-visit izakaya for those who appreciate thoughtfully crafted...

Izakaya is one of my favorite place to enjoy a relaxing Friday night. But today is Wednesday.

Even better. This place is so awesome, I can do it Monday through Friday. And plus Saturday and Sunday.

Food is delicious. All are delicious.

Only if they can serve dark draft beer. Would give them 120+ points.

Would definitely come back again and again.
