茹絲葵經典牛排館 — Restaurant in Taichung

I was incredibly excited at the chance to visit this famous restaurant. Since I was in the city for a couple of days, I made an appointment in advance for the earliest evening dinner time. From the moment I arrived, the service quality was incredible. At the entrance, the personnel took me to my table which was one floor above the entrance. The server was able to explain the menu to me very clearly, and to provide me with all the necessary information to complete my order. Although I ended up spending over $10,000 New Taiwan dollars, most of that was spent on the tomahawk steak. The quality of the food here is incredible, and I was even impressed by the taste and texture of the bread and butter. There was a great selection of wine, salads, starters, and desserts, among other selections. Since I ordered the huge tomahawk steak, I had a lot to take back with me. The staff was very willing to help me, and was able to cut the steak into bite-size pieces according to my needs. If you have the income to spend on this kind of expensive meal, I would suggest that this location is definitely a great place to enjoy a juicy steak I will certainly be back, although I might order a smaller steak...

We ordered steaks and some side dishes like Potatoes au Gratin, mushrooms and fries with dried tomatoes. The potatoes were still raw and I couldn't eat them. Then I spoke to the waitress who went to tell the head of staff and after a few minutes she came to tell us that after taking the potatoes she had tasted them herself and didn't think they were that bad. What justification is this? It made me laugh, what kind of service is this that after the customer complains they say they tried the food and it wasn't bad. The potatoes were raw... not to mention the dessert, very bad too. Anyway , I don't recommend at all...

"Ruth's Chris"is originated from United States, it's generally be thought the highest class of steakhouse which provides the U.S Prime steak. This branch locates on Taiwan Boulevard (the former Zhonggang Road) and Zhongming Road Intersection in Taichung, and is on the highest floor in the building.

The interior space here is special since it's in round structure which has a high ceiling. With an old-fashion elegant decoration, vintage furniture, and abundantly using materials of red wood, it reveals a nostalgic and calm atmosphere. The . Everything is pretty fine here except for the slightly rough painting on the ceiling.

There are various steak and other grilled dishes of meats or seafood for main dishes. the full-portion steak is very juicy and fragrant, however the taste is not as tender as I thought although I ordered the medium. The other main dishes are abnormally savory, such as Chilean bass. Besides, the appetizers, soups, and salad here are all classic flavors in United States. The dessert are looking simple but exquisite.
