Chili's Grill & Bar 美式休閒餐廳 - 臺中老虎城店 — Restaurant in Taichung

I'll never eat here again. Whatever you do, think twice before wasting your hard earned money here. The fajita dish is pathetic. It looks plentiful in the pictures but in reality there is barely enough meat to fill up one person. There must have been about 50 grams of chicken and there were exactly 5 shrimps. All that for 700 NTD? Is this a joke? For that much money I expect to be served a lot of meat. I'd get more meat in a convenience store 7/11 chicken breast for 60 NTD...

I consulted the waiter and asked him "where has all the meat gone?" and he said he'd tell the manager but neither he, nor the manager returned to our table again. An apology would be nice for scamming me with false advertising. I'm sure if you eat Chili's in the USA it's fantastic but here it's an absolute rip off and a disgrace.

The fajita meal is supposed to be for 1-2 people. Well, those must be some small people then, because we were both still hungry after eating it. The accompanying sauces, guacamole and grated cheese provided literally measure a teaspoon each. And that's for 2 people? And 4 wraps? Cheapskates! If this happened in America they'd be sued for false advertising.

We spent over 1800 NTD and were so disappointed. Just burn your money instead of eating here and get the feeling of regret at home rather...

Since 2010, they had moved from first floor front door to second floor. And remodeled the whole restaurant but after 3 times it get smaller and no view of Tiger city plaza. 2018/09/14, Re-open. USA chain restaurant but food is not well prepared or bring to table after cooked before it gets cold.. Need more trainings. Portion was bigger before(2015). Price is higher than U.S. but food is not as good as its origins. Rib 28USD IN TAIWAN, ＄20 in USA. Service is good because there are not so many guests in restaurant during weekdays. Only 3 chioces of desserts. Choices of non- alcoholic drinks is less than it should be. 2017/12/31 New dish - fried chicken. Ribs was not good but better than others in Taichung. Upset stomach. 2018/09/16 New menu 2021/08, after long closed down, from may-Aug. I ordered Fajitas and ribs but I had upset stomach later on. And missing 4 toppings from Fajitas, cheese/salsa/sour cream & guacamole. The whole team is very new I assume. Maybe they don't know the dish looks like. Very good service as always. Please stay here as long as you can. There not so many real food in Town. In Taichung, there are many high rating restaurants' taste is not good and small portion. They have online ordering system now. Or you can order from food panda...

Authentic Mexican food this is not, but still... on a few occasions, Chili's in Taichung has been our hero and rescued my family from our Tex-Mex food withdrawals. Most importantly, their food doesn't seem to waver from the Chilis recipes in America, which is a big deal, because, when ordering western food in Taiwan and Japan, even some major American Restaurant chains will alter their staple menu items with a surprising Asian twist that rips "American" right out of the recipe. (Yeah, I'm talking to you, TGIFriday's) Even their buffalo wings taste like... well, good ole' buffalo wings! Their salads are amazing and quite large. Other entrees include tacos, burgers, baby back ribs, fajitas and steaks. Everything we've ordered has been good, and some items have really hit the spot when a craving was involved. The menu selection is large, the servers are nice and attentive, the portions are big, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Bottom line, I highly recommend Chilis in Tiger CIty if you've got a hankerin' for some American or...
