Kazuma Tiger City Branch — Restaurant in Taichung

Best meal in Taiwan. Reservations highly recommended. We only manage to get a 530pm slot and we need to return the table by 730pm. They are very time conscious. The next group was ready to be seated at 715-730pm. pls arrive on time so u have time for your meal. We chose the waygu beef set without any cooked food. It was so good. It wouldn’t be that affordable for this kind of meat quality back where we came from. Pls try it when you are in Taichung. Must try! We would have come back again if we stayed in Taichung another night. Look at the beef photos, great quality and marbling. It cost us about Nt4400 for 2 pax. Butter beer is good but best to share one. We struggled trying to finish one each. Their puff dessert is way better than tiramisu and puff is limited serving per day. Take Puff!

What happened?

The meat is definitely not the same quality but not bad, the atmosphere is pretentious, and it took a committee (well, eventually my friend's app) to figure out if the house white wine was dry or sweet. My friend's dessert was frozen like a brick. The staff was nice, but not very well trained.

Anyway, I always loved Kazuma, but this branch doesn't have it. Hope the other one...

We ordered “epicure” set for two people, also upgraded to A5 Japanese beef rice, non-alcoholic butter beer and caramel cheese cream dessert. Overall tastes good. Servers are friendly, offer professional tableside services for grilling meats and vegetables.
