had new years' eve dinner here with my bf and we were amazed with the food & service! recommended to book in advance for such holidays - we were lucky enough to come across them a day before while exploring the city & immediately booked their last table for our timeslot.

the lobster risotto was just amazing, especially for those who love a heavy seafood taste, where the rice just compliments it perfectly!

the cannenoli pasta blew my mind away, as someone who loves savoury food, gratin and spinach! the pasta was a perfect texture and the seasoning of the fillings was just right, not too salty and lovingly tangy!

AND THE PIZZA. we ordered the half & half, sweet pizza (apple, cinnamon, gorgonzola cheese) & the kale pesto (smoked ham, avocado, ricotta cheese). the kale pesto pizza was one amazing pizza !!! i'm still thinking about it today & wish i could fly back for more.

we felt the buffalo wings were alright, more tangy than spicy. we wished it had a little more kick to it and a little less hit to the nose with the tangy-ness.

we both got different sangrias, they were alright. the tasting notes promised were delivered prominently, but otherwise doesnt blow your mind away. worth for the price though! there was a 1 for 1 when we were there!

otherwise, their service was just great. the waiters constantly go around and check in on the diners, and frequently clear out your empty plates to ensure you've got space for more food! they managed the holiday dinner rush well & attended to every need.

overall, a great place! if i come back to taichung i'd definitely come back here again. especially for the pizza.

We had a great experience here! The ambiance, food, and prices were all fantastic. The service was a little slow--we had to flag the staff down several times and waited 5+ minutes for the check, 5+ minutes for them to pick up the check, and 10+ minutes for them to bring our change. The servers were friendly but maybe a little too busy or a bit inattentive, I'm not sure. But the food was really great! I'm quite picky about restaurants and I was extremely impressed with every dish we got. They even gave a complimentary cheesecake to celebrate a birthday. I would definitely go back and will...

Positives Loved their burrata salad Smoked salmon pizza was decent Dessert was OK Love the location and ambiance

Negatives Steak was disappointing (the flavor is sort of bland and it's a bit chewy. It's not a fillet mignon steak so it's understandable but it's not worth the price in my opinion) They allow pets here so be prepared to hear dogs barking (not fond of this rule)
