Yonshin — Restaurant in Taichung

Finding this restaurant, located on the third floor of a mall, proved to be a bit challenging for me as a foreigner. However, once I discovered it, I realized the search was absolutely worth it. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful interior and even an outdoor seating area.

During my visit, I ordered pork belly with rice, apple lemon juice, dumplings, and brown sugar cake. I must say that everything, except for the cake, was incredibly delicious. The flavors and textures of the pork belly dish were outstanding, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. The dumplings bursted with savory fillings. and the apple lemon juice was refreshing and provided a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess.

During my trip to Taichung, I had the pleasure of visiting Yongxin Fengcha at Eslite Spectrum Park Lane. This tea house is a true gem in the bustling shopping district!

The elegant and comfortable ambiance, with lush plants and cozy wooden furniture, creates a perfect environment for enjoying tea. The quality of their oolong and high mountain teas is outstanding, boasting rich flavors and alluring aromas.

The staff's friendly and professional service, as well as their expertise in tea knowledge and brewing techniques, made my experience truly enjoyable. In addition to tea, they also offer various tea ware and tea art courses.

Walked in without reservation and managed to get a table for 2 on a Saturday, 5.30pm. Shortly after we were seated, the place was almost filled up.

The ambience here is really warm, cozy and the service here is excellent.

Though it's full, but the tables were well spaced out. 👍Being a tourist, they proactively recommended us some dishes and were really patient with going through the menu with us. Thankful for the friendy staff. 👍
