Disappointment on a budget. I've been here on 4 different occasions and each time the chef struggles to differentiate between a medium and a rare steak. If you order rare it is nearly a blue steak. If you order medium it gets well done. It's a problem, considering steak is the most common item on the menu.

I will say though, that our waitress was very professional. The service staff were good. The deserts haven't even had time to defrost. They just take them out of the freezer and dump them on your plate. You will need a mallet to break through and eat it.

My companion sent back an undercooked steak and he was in disbelief as they just put it in the microwave rather than refrying it. Four of us went here for a bit of a celebration, since it is a bit more expensive than we normally go out for. Three of us went for the $518NT set menu, one having Roasted Steak 6oz, another having Beef Stewed with Seasonal Vegetables, and the third with Flavorful Roast Chicken. The fourth member had a $568NT set menu, having Spicy Steak with Cheese. All but the one with Beef Stewed thought their main was great, while the one who chose the beef realized it was more for Taiwanese tastes than Western. Everyone loved everything else we had with standouts being the Shrimp and Vegetables with Yogurt (only with the $568 meal), the King Oyster Mushroom and Romaine Salad and the Vanilla Ice Cream with Hot Chocolate Bag. The service was pretty good but felt rushed. If you’re a vegetarian/pescatarian the choices are a bit limited.

I highly recommend the mushroom dip….absolutely delicious. I substituted the chicken for 2 pieces of fish and that was a sound choice(only choice haha)

My friend had the chicken salad and although she enjoyed it, she didn’t like the sauce. The desert -lemon tart- was heavenly. It was a nice balance of tangy and sweet.
