Pork ribs were not that good, fried chicken not crispy. Steak is soso-ok. Side salad was terrible. Bread, not a fan. Main course + chicken + one drinks = 2000NTD = 66 USD Pricy but not super great quality. Bread & peanuts are free. 2017/12 3rd time dined here As before, still not improved, Barbecue Chicken was not crispy/good. Steak kebab was not great. 2018/10 Cactus petals - fried onion the worse quality ever, 1/3 chance to get bad quality onion. 2019/03 Fried onion was not good. Fried steak - not a fan. 2019/06 Lunch time - Steak quality is not stable. Over cooked. Service is great. 2021 Back for prime rib, so delicious. We also received a cake on house for our anniversary. I applied for VIP CARD AND CAME BACK FOR prime rib next month. So sad we are not able to come again because of pandemic outbreak in the city May, 2021. I wish I can visit in the near future. That’s why we decided to go there for our anniversary in Taichung branch, but we had a terrible experience here today...it’s also our first visit. We arrived there at 5:30, not too crowded at all! I’m not quite sure if we were there too early or they were not ready for the dinner order?? They didn’t really take care of us as well! First, They didn’t bring us dinner rolls till we asked! And then we tried to wave the waitress over, no body come and check out! We ordered the Ribeye which is not cheap compare with the price in Colorado! The Steak’s temperature wasn’t right when first came out, it was ok warm! Weird thing was, The waitress didn’t wait for me to cut the steak then left the table right away! Read moreI was in Taichung for the WBC. Our last full day, Monday, March 13, I wanted a "taste of home" and went to a Texas Roadhouse near the hotel. Wilson, the bartender / server in this photo, deserves a positive shoutout. First, I asked him if he could make an Old Fashion. Instead of saying that he's never made one before, Wilson asked what kind of drink it was, and I explained it was a bourbon based drink. Our bartender then found a manual next to the cash register and studied this to make an Old Fashion. I asked after he gave it to me was this his first and Wilson answered, yes. It was actually pretty good. An hour or so later, we'd now left the Texas Roadhouse and were now walking to our hotel. We had walked a few blocks away when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around just to see it was our bartender, Wilson. He was out of breath as he had run from the Texas Roadhouse in an attempt to chase us down and return my co-worker's credit card to him, which he'd accidently left.
