Great American stlye restaurant. Staff Dances every 30 minutes. Great service!! I think there are more than 20 waiter/waitress circling around during weekends. Pork ribs were not that good, fried chicken not crispy. Steak is soso-ok. Side salad was terrible. Bread, not a fan. Main course + chicken + one drinks = 2000NTD = 66 USD Pricy but not super great quality. Bread & peanuts are free. 2017/12 3rd time dined here As before, still not improved, Barbecue Chicken was not crispy/good. Steak kebab was not great. 2018/10 Cactus petals - fried onion the worse quality ever, 1/3 chance to get bad quality onion. 2019/03 Fried onion was not good. Fried steak - not a fan. 2019/06 Lunch time - Steak quality is not stable. Over cooked. Service is great. 2021 Back for prime rib, so delicious. We also received a cake on house for our anniversary. I applied for VIP CARD AND CAME BACK FOR prime rib next month. So sad we are not able to come again because of pandemic outbreak in the city May, 2021. I wish I can visit in the near future. March,2022 We had diarrhea after, ordered pork rib and prime rib and chili and buffalo wings, no drinks. WE SUSPECT CHILI/DRESSING/SAUCE MIGHT BE THE REASON. Prime rib was so delicious but pork ribs were not. The company's ownership/management switched to others but the VIP MEMBERSHIP EXTEND...

We visited taxes road house a lot when lived in US. And love their steaks very much! That’s why we decided to go there for our anniversary in Taichung branch, but we had a terrible experience here today...it’s also our first visit. We arrived there at 5:30, not too crowded at all! I’m not quite sure if we were there too early or they were not ready for the dinner order?? They didn’t really take care of us as well! First, They didn’t bring us dinner rolls till we asked! And then we tried to wave the waitress over, no body come and check out! We ordered the Ribeye which is not cheap compare with the price in Colorado! The Steak’s temperature wasn’t right when first came out, it was ok warm! Weird thing was, The waitress didn’t wait for me to cut the steak then left the table right away! I started to felt nauseous... after ate almost half of the steak... I rechecked my steak again... It’s not medium what I order, it’s rare!!!!!!!!! That was too gross that I can’t eat anymore. I almost puke out.... Finally,one guy came over and asked about the meal...If I’d like to have another new slice of beef... My gosh! They don’t really understand the problem!!! I had terrible stomachache after I home.... Very very bad experience! They ruined my day!!!!! Very...

I was in Taichung for the WBC. Our last full day, Monday, March 13, I wanted a "taste of home" and went to a Texas Roadhouse near the hotel. Wilson, the bartender / server in this photo, deserves a positive shoutout. First, I asked him if he could make an Old Fashion. Instead of saying that he's never made one before, Wilson asked what kind of drink it was, and I explained it was a bourbon based drink. Our bartender then found a manual next to the cash register and studied this to make an Old Fashion. I asked after he gave it to me was this his first and Wilson answered, yes. It was actually pretty good. An hour or so later, we'd now left the Texas Roadhouse and were now walking to our hotel. We had walked a few blocks away when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around just to see it was our bartender, Wilson. He was out of breath as he had run from the Texas Roadhouse in an attempt to chase us down and return my co-worker's credit card to him, which he'd accidently left. We both were grateful and appreciative of our Wilson's efforts. I'd originally only taken the photo just to commemorate his first Old Fashion. Now, I'd like to say if you're ever in Taichung and you want great service from a great guy,...

Instead of saying that he's never made one before, Wilson asked what kind of drink it was, and I explained it was a bourbon based drink. Our bartender then found a manual next to the cash register and studied this to make an Old Fashion. I asked after he gave it to me was this his first and Wilson answered, yes. It was actually pretty good. An hour or so later, we'd now left the Texas Roadhouse and were now walking to our hotel. We had walked a few blocks away when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around just to see it was our bartender, Wilson. 《沒有到過美國也會臣服於此處的完美詮釋,美帝飲食作風的尖峰之作,霸氣、豪邁、爽快,不用等到Friday也可以大快朵頤的Texas德州鮮切牛排館》 自從Fridays之戰後,對於甘美奢華的醬汁總是念念不忘,但心裡卻又異常忐忑,明明吃的是美式餐廳,怎麼腦海裡縈繞的是那些神秘、甜膩,三日不絕於味蕾的霸道濃郁?雖然好吃到連TGI Fridays代表Thanks God it’s Friday都無暇考證,但怎麼就如同Friday後面那個多出的s一樣,隱隱有些不和諧的關鍵導致給不出五星評價。 帶著些許的疑惑以及到期優惠券的壓力,只好裝作無視腰部柔韌炸裂的脂肪層,照原定計畫前往同集團的Texas德州鮮切牛排館,畢竟VIP卡的遊戲規則可是跟Costco一樣,先繳了一筆事前令人屏息、事後令人驚奇的會員費,倘若不多加使用單點8折的權利與拼盤優惠券,豈不如同只會在百貨公司B1超市購物的貴婦,不僅賠了停車費,還永遠享受不了限時特賣、激安落價、買一送一的主婦樂活體驗,更當不成合格的台灣國大媽。 通往牛排館的交通便利異常,從74號快速道路下市政路口後沿路直行,穿過黎明路後即可在右手邊看到龐大的連鎖餐飲帝國,從春水堂到星巴克,由台南牛肉火鍋到奢華的法式餐廳,在如阿拉伯聯合大公國似的餐飲集團中,德州牛排館以美帝之姿矗立正中央,竟與二次世界大戰以來的國際情勢如出一轍,真不知是巧合還是必然?唯一要注意的是,各家餐館特約的停車場不同,但從此處均可四通八達,在現場服務人員的指引下,順利沿著車道穿越最近的停車場,轉個右彎抵達馬龍潭路上的大車河林源停車場(可提前於市政路右轉黎明路二段後,左轉進馬龍潭路),看著數量眾多的停車空間,不難想像此處熱門時段的盛況與榮景,更令人再三疑惑是否全台灣只有自己的薪水沒漲?所幸大媽模式的眼尖技能早已提前點滿及自動運行,「我付費,你停車(費用折抵請洽服務員)」的豪爽標語既印入眼簾,就不可能遺忘。畢竟該賺的沒賺到,其反噬的後果可謂撲天蓋地、撕心裂肺。 諾大的用餐空間,在見識過Fridays的排場之後便不易感到震撼,但至少證明了美式餐廳的第一項共通點大概是那種「在世界的中心呼喊食物」的大氣開闊。夜店般的昏暗光線、大螢幕的運動比賽轉播、讓每個人錯覺自己很瘦的寬敞座位、經典美國鄉村風的裝潢,已營造出與亞洲合菜文化截然不同的氣氛,唯一共通的大概只有可以縱情嘈雜與喧鬧(?)、無須在意他人尖銳眼光的狂飲爆吃(到哪裡好像都沒在意過?)。 菜單選擇多樣,除了針對非會員與一般會員提供超值套餐(配菜由單點的2項,減少為1項),單點的品項亦是洋洋灑灑地在炸物、湯品、沙拉、牛排、組合套餐、其他料理等類別下,展現出五花八門的變化,簡直目不暇給。但既來之則安之,既是牛排館,自然要跟牛肉過不去;反正要肥了,肯定要點上一份美好炸物;好像吃太多了,那就加一份沙拉去油解膩;你說還有送一份拼盤,那就當賺到的試吃看看;哎呀,忘了點飲料,這樣會渴怎麼辦?也恰恰是這個渴求的契機,才又見識到本店的闊氣!每周三不僅有精選的酒類買一送一、現場還有不明所以的雪碧系列買一送一,還包括後續的無限續杯!就算沒有吃到飽也能喝到飽,完全可以抱著一副灌蟋蟀的準備,心無罣礙地期待酒飽飯足的一桌好菜。 忙碌的點菜、田調過程中,輕易地體會到此處的獨特氛圍,相較同集團每周五的冰冷服務,此處的店員從簡介、點餐、服務到送餐的過程中都充滿熱忱,對自家餐廳的自信與那種毫不懼怕來客越多會越累的熱情(鬼島經營應該不會有加薪跟小費吧?),簡直令人動容!最美的風景是人這句口號,在此地應該改成最賺錢的風景是人!有這樣的店員水平,豈有不大點特點、恣意吃喝的顧客?若同為餐飲業的大老闆們來此地用餐,應該也會慧眼識珠地急忙挖角吧?甫一點餐完,店員便利索地送上北港香蒜花生與不知名的麵包,讓候餐的時光完美轉化為閒談的舒適,誘人的蒜香與酥脆,完美地與瑪格麗特、雪碧合為一體,不自覺間又爆了許多的八卦,更數次迸發出另隔壁桌側目的歡笑,還有號稱酒量已經大幅提升的奇女子,一邊醉眼婆娑地喊著我沒醉、我已經進步了,一邊忘情地靠著邊角的牆垣貓一般磨蹭,不時又在癡傻的笑顏間,因為接到「是~我~的~男~捧~友~」來電而忘情燦笑,真不曉得電話那頭的男子是愛憐、疼惜、擔憂,還是無奈? 本店的鎮殿之寶,令人幾經思慮後,還是不得不拜服於其美好的德州麵包(不知真名只好將德州牛排館驚魂美味到升天而且內用可以無限續的麵包簡稱),油亮的外貌,不僅因其恰到好處的色澤與剛出爐的熱氣而不令人望而生畏,四溢的麵粉香味,與奶油的甜蜜相互交融,氤氳繚繞,彷彿氣狀的彎鉤,不只勾人味蕾,更是長驅直入大腦顳葉區,輕巧地寫入長期記憶中。殊不知,入口的衝擊竟毫不遜色,外皮酥脆、內層鬆軟的麵包體完美展示了口感變化的頂級手法,每一次的咀嚼都彷彿可以見聞到金色的麥香,在微風吹拂、夥伴嬉鬧的景致中,將那種雋永的懷念感於舌尖上精準復刻。此時無論是歐包、日本太陽之手、台式大融合麵包都毫無疑問被拋諸腦後,光靠這一個德州麵包就足以飄洋過海、征服世界,幸好鄰近的台中已經有了這處殖民地,要人三不五時、三跪九叩到此處朝拜這殿堂級的奴役人心之作。 拼盤上的起司球不以起司味自滿,加入些許辣椒、青蔬調和其濃重口味,清爽的口感大幅提升了這炸物小點的層次;以培根、青蔥點綴的焗烤馬鈴薯皮,厚度掌握得恰到好處,在不令口舌乾澀的前提下,在口腔中爆發澱粉、肉質、辛香料的交響樂;擠上檸檬的炸花枝圈,才又讓人記憶起美式料理著重的醬料,輕薄酥脆的外皮,搭配微酸的果香,與看似厚重的凱薩風格醬料,一來一往間也上演了齣精湛的好戲。霸氣上桌的菲力沙拉,3分熟度的牛排鋪墊在豐富多彩的生菜上,豪放的厚度與粉色的紅嫩,與外皮精心炙燒的紋理形成奢華的對比,在一口的頃刻間竟然充滿了燻烤、鮮甜、柔嫩、汁溢的千滋百味,要如何遏止馬上起立高歌、手舞足蹈「A-A-America」、「Bò bít tết tết tết tết tết」、「這才叫牛排」的激動心緒? 此時的我們仍然天真,毫無預防接踵而來,核彈一般的驚世衝擊,自以為沙拉上的菲力已是難以超越的巔峰。 此處不是長崎、亦非廣島,更不是車諾比,卻被投入了核戰一般的巨大能量,傳奇性的20oz(誰知道這是什麼單位?)超級肋眼牛排史詩級地轟炸上桌,滑順地切割成3-4倍骰子牛排的份量,看似令人怯步的油脂早已被化骨綿掌般的炙烤功力消弭其罪孽,在口腔的溫熱中盡情地包覆著肉塊,與肉汁天作之合般地沁出源源不絕的鮮美,無須任何多餘的調味粉飾,就可以感受到奔牛似的慶典,在牙床、舌根與食道間橫衝直撞,最終昇華成一朵令人敬畏的蕈狀雲。而這樣的恢弘破壞力更擴及周邊,隨餐的帶皮馬鈴薯條僅以簡單的鹽巴調味,便提煉出綿密細緻的原始食材質感;香料調味稍帶點硬度的米飯,乾爽的口感在不知名的香氣帶領下,長河似地流瀉、橫溢,好似巨大毀滅之後,經歷了無數時光的洗禮與無垠大地的休養生息,終將再次迎來鳥語花香的自然奇蹟,令世人只能震懾、崇敬,悠悠地嘆息著生而為人的渺小(,竟連美食界都難以窮究)。

I’m a legit Texan, born in Dallas, raised out near Tyler, Tx. So, when I moved to Taiwan six months ago, I knew I needed to make a trip to Taichung just to go to the Texas Roadhouse. I’ve been to many in the Dallas area. My favorite was up in The Colony. This one had a very similar feel to it. I think I might have been the first Texan to get up and dance with them when the service staff all danced to Cotton-Eyed Joe. The food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly but my date’s pork chop left a lot to be desired. The service was excellent and Curry made sure we were well taken care of. Her attentiveness made the evening special. I won’t post our real ages, but when she said she thought we were both in our 20’s, she made our night. If you are in Taichung and want a good steak, check out Texas Roadhouse and tell them a Texan sent you.

《沒有到過美國也會臣服於此處的完美詮釋,美帝飲食作風的尖峰之作,霸氣、豪邁、爽快,不用等到Friday也可以大快朵頤的Texas德州鮮切牛排館》 自從Fridays之戰後,對於甘美奢華的醬汁總是念念不忘,但心裡卻又異常忐忑,明明吃的是美式餐廳,怎麼腦海裡縈繞的是那些神秘、甜膩,三日不絕於味蕾的霸道濃郁?雖然好吃到連TGI Fridays代表Thanks God it’s Friday都無暇考證,但怎麼就如同Friday後面那個多出的s一樣,隱隱有些不和諧的關鍵導致給不出五星評價。 帶著些許的疑惑以及到期優惠券的壓力,只好裝作無視腰部柔韌炸裂的脂肪層,照原定計畫前往同集團的Texas德州鮮切牛排館,畢竟VIP卡的遊戲規則可是跟Costco一樣,先繳了一筆事前令人屏息、事後令人驚奇的會員費,倘若不多加使用單點8折的權利與拼盤優惠券,豈不如同只會在百貨公司B1超市購物的貴婦,不僅賠了停車費,還永遠享受不了限時特賣、激安落價、買一送一的主婦樂活體驗,更當不成合格的台灣國大媽。 通往牛排館的交通便利異常,從74號快速道路下市政路口後沿路直行,穿過黎明路後即可在右手邊看到龐大的連鎖餐飲帝國,從春水堂到星巴克,由台南牛肉火鍋到奢華的法式餐廳,在如阿拉伯聯合大公國似的餐飲集團中,德州牛排館以美帝之姿矗立正中央,竟與二次世界大戰以來的國際情勢如出一轍,真不知是巧合還是必然?唯一要注意的是,各家餐館特約的停車場不同,但從此處均可四通八達,在現場服務人員的指引下,順利沿著車道穿越最近的停車場,轉個右彎抵達馬龍潭路上的大車河林源停車場(可提前於市政路右轉黎明路二段後,左轉進馬龍潭路),看著數量眾多的停車空間,不難想像此處熱門時段的盛況與榮景,更令人再三疑惑是否全台灣只有自己的薪水沒漲?所幸大媽模式的眼尖技能早已提前點滿及自動運行,「我付費,你停車(費用折抵請洽服務員)」的豪爽標語既印入眼簾,就不可能遺忘。畢竟該賺的沒賺到,其反噬的後果可謂撲天蓋地、撕心裂肺。 諾大的用餐空間,在見識過Fridays的排場之後便不易感到震撼,但至少證明了美式餐廳的第一項共通點大概是那種「在世界的中心呼喊食物」的大氣開闊。夜店般的昏暗光線、大螢幕的運動比賽轉播、讓每個人錯覺自己很瘦的寬敞座位、經典美國鄉村風的裝潢,已營造出與亞洲合菜文化截然不同的氣氛,唯一共通的大概只有可以縱情嘈雜與喧鬧(?)、無須在意他人尖銳眼光的狂飲爆吃(到哪裡好像都沒在意過?)。 菜單選擇多樣,除了針對非會員與一般會員提供超值套餐(配菜由單點的2項,減少為1項),單點的品項亦是洋洋灑灑地在炸物、湯品、沙拉、牛排、組合套餐、其他料理等類別下,展現出五花八門的變化,簡直目不暇給。但既來之則安之,既是牛排館,自然要跟牛肉過不去;反正要肥了,肯定要點上一份美好炸物;好像吃太多了,那就加一份沙拉去油解膩;你說還有送一份拼盤,那就當賺到的試吃看看;哎呀,忘了點飲料,這樣會渴怎麼辦?也恰恰是這個渴求的契機,才又見識到本店的闊氣!每周三不僅有精選的酒類買一送一、現場還有不明所以的雪碧系列買一送一,還包括後續的無限續杯!就算沒有吃到飽也能喝到飽,完全可以抱著一副灌蟋蟀的準備,心無罣礙地期待酒飽飯足的一桌好菜。 忙碌的點菜、田調過程中,輕易地體會到此處的獨特氛圍,相較同集團每周五的冰冷服務,此處的店員從簡介、點餐、服務到送餐的過程中都充滿熱忱,對自家餐廳的自信與那種毫不懼怕來客越多會越累的熱情(鬼島經營應該不會有加薪跟小費吧?),簡直令人動容!最美的風景是人這句口號,在此地應該改成最賺錢的風景是人!有這樣的店員水平,豈有不大點特點、恣意吃喝的顧客?若同為餐飲業的大老闆們來此地用餐,應該也會慧眼識珠地急忙挖角吧?甫一點餐完,店員便利索地送上北港香蒜花生與不知名的麵包,讓候餐的時光完美轉化為閒談的舒適,誘人的蒜香與酥脆,完美地與瑪格麗特、雪碧合為一體,不自覺間又爆了許多的八卦,更數次迸發出另隔壁桌側目的歡笑,還有號稱酒量已經大幅提升的奇女子,一邊醉眼婆娑地喊著我沒醉、我已經進步了,一邊忘情地靠著邊角的牆垣貓一般磨蹭,不時又在癡傻的笑顏間,因為接到「是~我~的~男~捧~友~」來電而忘情燦笑,真不曉得電話那頭的男子是愛憐、疼惜、擔憂,還是無奈? 本店的鎮殿之寶,令人幾經思慮後,還是不得不拜服於其美好的德州麵包(不知真名只好將德州牛排館驚魂美味到升天而且內用可以無限續的麵包簡稱),油亮的外貌,不僅因其恰到好處的色澤與剛出爐的熱氣而不令人望而生畏,四溢的麵粉香味,與奶油的甜蜜相互交融,氤氳繚繞,彷彿氣狀的彎鉤,不只勾人味蕾,更是長驅直入大腦顳葉區,輕巧地寫入長期記憶中。殊不知,入口的衝擊竟毫不遜色,外皮酥脆、內層鬆軟的麵包體完美展示了口感變化的頂級手法,每一次的咀嚼都彷彿可以見聞到金色的麥香,在微風吹拂、夥伴嬉鬧的景致中,將那種雋永的懷念感於舌尖上精準復刻。此時無論是歐包、日本太陽之手、台式大融合麵包都毫無疑問被拋諸腦後,光靠這一個德州麵包就足以飄洋過海、征服世界,幸好鄰近的台中已經有了這處殖民地,要人三不五時、三跪九叩到此處朝拜這殿堂級的奴役人心之作。 拼盤上的起司球不以起司味自滿,加入些許辣椒、青蔬調和其濃重口味,清爽的口感大幅提升了這炸物小點的層次;以培根、青蔥點綴的焗烤馬鈴薯皮,厚度掌握得恰到好處,在不令口舌乾澀的前提下,在口腔中爆發澱粉、肉質、辛香料的交響樂;擠上檸檬的炸花枝圈,才又讓人記憶起美式料理著重的醬料,輕薄酥脆的外皮,搭配微酸的果香,與看似厚重的凱薩風格醬料,一來一往間也上演了齣精湛的好戲。霸氣上桌的菲力沙拉,3分熟度的牛排鋪墊在豐富多彩的生菜上,豪放的厚度與粉色的紅嫩,與外皮精心炙燒的紋理形成奢華的對比,在一口的頃刻間竟然充滿了燻烤、鮮甜、柔嫩、汁溢的千滋百味,要如何遏止馬上起立高歌、手舞足蹈「A-A-America」、「Bò bít tết tết tết tết tết」、「這才叫牛排」的激動心緒? 此時的我們仍然天真,毫無預防接踵而來,核彈一般的驚世衝擊,自以為沙拉上的菲力已是難以超越的巔峰。 此處不是長崎、亦非廣島,更不是車諾比,卻被投入了核戰一般的巨大能量,傳奇性的20oz(誰知道這是什麼單位?)超級肋眼牛排史詩級地轟炸上桌,滑順地切割成3-4倍骰子牛排的份量,看似令人怯步的油脂早已被化骨綿掌般的炙烤功力消弭其罪孽,在口腔的溫熱中盡情地包覆著肉塊,與肉汁天作之合般地沁出源源不絕的鮮美,無須任何多餘的調味粉飾,就可以感受到奔牛似的慶典,在牙床、舌根與食道間橫衝直撞,最終昇華成一朵令人敬畏的蕈狀雲。而這樣的恢弘破壞力更擴及周邊,隨餐的帶皮馬鈴薯條僅以簡單的鹽巴調味,便提煉出綿密細緻的原始食材質感;香料調味稍帶點硬度的米飯,乾爽的口感在不知名的香氣帶領下,長河似地流瀉、橫溢,好似巨大毀滅之後,經歷了無數時光的洗禮與無垠大地的休養生息,終將再次迎來鳥語花香的自然奇蹟,令世人只能震懾、崇敬,悠悠地嘆息著生而為人的渺小(,竟連美食界都難以窮究)。

I’m a legit Texan, born in Dallas, raised out near Tyler, Tx. So, when I moved to Taiwan six months ago, I knew I needed to make a trip to Taichung just to go to the Texas Roadhouse. I’ve been to many in the Dallas area. My favorite was up in The Colony. This one had a very similar feel to it. I think I might have been the first Texan to get up and dance with them when the service staff all danced to Cotton-Eyed Joe. The food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly but my date’s pork chop left a lot to be desired. The service was excellent and Curry made sure we were well taken care of. Her attentiveness made the evening special. I won’t post our real ages, but when she said she thought we were both in our 20’s, she made our night. If you are in Taichung and want a good steak, check out Texas Roadhouse and tell them a Texan sent you.
