I first walked by here late on a Saturday night and despite me just glancing at the menu outside as I casually walked by a staff member named Vincent came out to say hello before having a long chat with one of the owners named Danny. Of course I had to come back (and early enough too as they discontinue service when they run out of product - they don’t want to be serving a partial menu! What an amazing integrity of the business). My actual dining experience was even better than expected. Everyone is so friendly, the energy is electric and fun and the food was absolutely fantastic!! Now I suppose I should point out this was my first ramen experience but was it ever great!! Too bad I was too excited about eating to make sure I got a better picture!!! As a ramen connoisseur myself, I can’t express how amazing and value for money this ramen is. They’re incredibly hospitable and lovely to chat with! If you’re worried about not being to understand Chinese and are an English-speaking traveller yourself, the boss speaks English as well so not to worry!

We had the shio (salt) and spicy miso ramen, with fried chicken. It was all delicious but the shio ramen was stand-out excellent, with a delicate chicken broth underpinning the flavour. The fried chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
