Fushin Hotel Taichung — Hotel in Taichung

Hotel is tucked out of the way from the main, busy streets but it is not far to the night markets, top quality bakehouses (think Nine Sun etc) and shopping areas near this.||Staff very helpful and have English skills. Willing to solve problems right away and give a good solution.||Rooms are not so new but are well kept and spacious. Bathroom is the same with a good array of amenities. Tea/coffee and safe in room. Paper can be delivered to your room too.||There is a free laundry facility in the basement which is clean and in good order. Regular washer and dryer but only one of each. I went down in the evening and it was free on both occasions. Car parking is here too and can be arranged with the hotel before arrival.||Breakfast is good with generous amounts of foods available. Fresh fruit & salads, bakery with jams, chocolate spread etc. Fried and hot dishes as well as juices, tea and coffee. ||There is a cafe open from afternoon till 8:30pm which can serve hot meals such as pasta, risotto or steaks. 車位有限，沒有提前告知，後續服務態度也差勁！過年期間飯店忙碌，導致服務品質下降很多！ Limited parking spaces and poor service attitudes. I understand that CNY is a busy time for the hotel. But the Taichung branch needs huge improvement on the service.

The hotel didn't inform the customers ahead we might need to find our parking until we finished dinner and went back to the hotel. Then realized the hotel blocked the parking entrance because the parking was full. It was cold at night. The staff only gave me a map and asked me to figure it out by myself. And the maximum amount for parking reimbursement is only NTD$100!!

The next day morning when I feedback to the front desk, there was no apology and only quiet listening. I received the text message attached a few hours later. Am I supposed to feel better? I used to stay in other branches and their service was...

Stayed at Fushin hotel for 4 nights. Room size is quite big and bed is king size (not easy to find in Taiwan as most hotels provide double bed which is very small). Sound proof is good. Air con temperature can be controlled, unlike so other hotels with centralized air con. My family can sleep very well at night. The location may not be very central but is quite near yizhong night market, short walk to Miyahara and Chun Shui Tang Siwei street. Staff are friendly and service is good....
