VVG Theater Café — Restaurant in Taichung

The female barista with shortcut hair to the neck had the worst attitude and nasty behavior. I ordered water and a salad for $425. She gave me the wrong water and then blamed me for not confirming after taking payment and putting it on the counter after paying. If it was so difficult, she could have picked up and shown me the bottle. So sick of her attitude, I just took it and left. Despite a language barrier, that I understand and accept, tone of voice and a smile goes a long way. Absolutely deplorable customer service. Oh, and there isn't any power access to work...

The food here may be good, but the dine-in policy is quite frustrating. Each person is required to order a drink, even if you’ve already ordered a substantial amount of food. I was willing to spend over $500 on food, but they insisted on the extra drink purchase — which felt unnecessary and a bit unreasonable. We had a cinnamon roll, salmon and spinach quiche, and a sea salt caramel latte. The food was okay, but nothing special, and the portions are quite small. It’s something to be aware of...

The food and beverages are acceptable. It is a cafe for the opera visitors so do not expect too much. Long waiting time during weekend.

There is no service here, all self service. And i can see why some people complain about rude staff at the oder counter. I have personally witness her style. She is surely not the most polite...
