Overall food is delicious but in more delicate portion. Good presentation and ambiance for outings and social events, but food wise there’s other cheaper options for sure.
烤鴨: Duck is very tender and flavorful, feels slightly smaller than whole ducks that I’ve had in the past, but flavor and preparation is similar to all others that I’ve experienced. The crispy duck skin with sugar is definitely a must try!
功夫鴨絲粥
酸菜鴨架湯: Soup base is more on the lighter side what I like. Duck is very tender
涼菜三拼: Good small plates but way too small of a portion for supposed four people portion. There was golden kimchi, black fungus, and Taiwanese pickled cucumber
獨門蒜酥鴨下巴: The duck chin is very crispy and flavorful as it was dunked in a pool of garlic scallion. The meat isn’t the most tender and it was mostly bone
瑤柱醬爆蘿蔔糕: Such an interesting and unique way of prepping white radish. Never had it like this where the exterior is crispy and the interior is much like boiled potato. I recommend!
甘樹孑水蓮: Delicious veggies that you won’t typically get elsewhere
陳釀梅子雞球: The chicken and sour plum works with each other surprisingly well. The dish is kinda sticky overall, and the chicken has a slight crispy texture within the sticky plum sauce coating. Also recommend!
秘製山椒酸菜魚: This dish is almost like a soup, but the soup is rather drinkable without being overly sour. The fish is super tender and smooth, has a kick of sourness from the Taiwanese sour cabbage, as well as numbiness from the peppercorn
芋泥甜包子: Delicious but skin and peanut powder slightly overpowers...
Read moreXiang Duck is a new brand under Wowprime and focuses on serving delicate Peking Duck & modern Chinese cuisine. The decor is elegant and classy with both authentic & modern elements.
They use the high quality duck from Cherry Valley, which is located in Eastern Taiwan. The duck is grilled in low temperature and then dried for 24 hours to seal the best flavor. There are multiple ways they suggest like wrapping with pie skin & dipping with special sauce, to enjoy each bite.
We got their Combo for two to share with a group of three and the portion was pretty decent. The combo came with Half Peking Duck set, appetizers, 2 savory dishes (Tofu Stew & Plum Chicken) and a bowl of congee braised with duck bone.
The food was amazingly delicious and satisfying, especially the Pecking Duck & congee. The duck meat was grilled perfectly, juicy and tender with crispy duck skin. The congee was flavorful and went well with fried dough.
Overall, we will definitely recommend Xiang Duck to our friends and also bring our family to dine there on...
Read moreWe made a reservation for 9 pax at 7:30pm, despite us arriving early, we were given the table late, which was fine actually, but what’s not okay is that the staff kept telling us they were clearing and preparing the table already when they are not, I think they can improve their internal communication issue. Apart from that the overall service is good. We enjoyed the duck, and I personally liked the salted egg tou fu, I felt that the seasoning was just right, the porridge however was average, along with some other dishes as well, the seafood soup? Or some soup that had alot spring onion in it, thou it looked healthy, it’s actually very flavourful, one of my favourite as well. Service wise I do still think that they lack of proper communication, from time to time we do need to clarify and repeat ourselves. But in terms of food quality wise, I think it’s...
