RESTAURANT: 湯棧

Time for trying another 火鍋 restaurant in Taichung. Friends told me this brand has an unique soup consisted of wine.

FOOD: We ordered beef, pork and chicken as our meat and my soup was chicken with wine. Definitely the soup was different. We also had some sides, such 滷鴨血，meatballs and mushrooms. And I liked the Hot Pot noodles.

MENU: They have English menu. Mostly of the menu offer the same meat but different kind of soup. However, there is no refill of veggies or meat. If you want to eat more, you need to order (pay) more.

SERVICE: Efficient and robots everywhere.

PRICE: 1250 NTD 三位

A high-end hotpot place, with fresh ingredients and delicious soups. There are two types of meat: frozen or refrigerated. Soups are of alcoholic based: sesame oil/soju, or seaweed, vegetarian, chilli soup. The alcohol-based soup were pretty intense for normal level. Each set comes with fresh vege bowl, rice or noodles, wintermelon tea and a small iced smoothie. There are also some cute meowing robots serving food in the restaurant. Overall service was great, atmosphere was great. Set prices differ from 300~900 ntd, refer menu for exact prices. Opening hours until...

A good place for flavourful Taiwanese hotpot. We ordered the Sesame Oil Chicken broth. Initially it was very flavourful but it can get a bit greasy after cooking the meats as the broth is already oily due to the sesame oil borth. However, servings were generous and the drinks are free flow. Service wasn't that great as the place was busy and some of the staff didnt respond well to customer queries. Serving of food took a while too, with almost a 30 minute wait for the...
