合府小籠湯包（光復店） — Restaurant in Taipei

Soup dumplings did not disappoint. Meat wasn't too gamey, and soup wasn't too bland or salty. It has quite a similar taste profile as din tai fung's soup dumplings, but slightly heavier on the chives in the meat fillings, which I don't mind. However, the dumpling skin is slightly thicker than I would have preferred.

Guo tie was another stunner, too. Nice crispy under skin and the meat, similar to the soup dumplings, it has a balanced meaty taste. If you're a fan of eating guo ties with loads of vinegar and ginger, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Custard bun was a hat trick. The bun was soft, and the custard was not too sweet, too. The custard was not the flowy and liquid type, but I didn't mind because my experiences with custard bun are always getting my tongue scalded by the hot custard liquid. Hence, this custard bun was a welcoming bite.

At the time of this review, the store's Google rating was a 4.5 stars, which nicely reflects my sentiments, but since we can't give half stars, got to settle for 5. Would definitely return...

We came from Hawaii and came across this place. The food was better than Din Tai Fung. The waiters are really friendly and helpful with food selections. I would have eaten there everyday of our stay if I could. The gyoza, xiaolongbao with pork and crab, shumai, and water spinach with garlic sauce was da bomb. Even now , I really miss...

內用10%服務費，湯包沒湯像水餃，外帶很燙沒袋子直接給客人，員工把手機放在包湯包的檯上，價格偏貴，不合個人口味。
