Thick-cut Pork Tenderloin ($398): The pork was quite succulent and there were tonkatsu sauce and tahini as condiments. However, the coating should’ve been crispier even though it already kinda was. Furthermore, the set meal included Japanese steamed egg, refillable miso soup, sesames and 2 side dishes. I preferred the steamed egg here because there weren’t put any other things except for itself inside. But on the contrary, there was a lot of stuff in the miso soup even the onions.
If you dine in, you can enjoy the drink bar (my top notch was melon juice) and self service unlimited rice. Moreover, I upgraded the seasonal dessert to sundae for $39 more and it was milk tea flavoured.
In conclusion, speedy service and moderate price but the foods weren’t the best. However, they did offer me a $60 a la carte coupon and I’ll be back in the future. In terms of transportation, there are some parking lots outside the restaurant and it is near the MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall station Exit 2. Overall, it’s an 8.5 out of 10!

Read moreA nice katsu restaurant that provides a variety of combo meals that are all nicely made. Their fried pork steak has a interesting texture that I felt it might have been through some special treatment. The flavor is great with the sauce and ground sesame blend. With a set meal, you can get a steamed egg, a miso soup and some side veggies. The sides are mostly just there, and they don’t provide much additional value. Their fried chicken is kinda mediocre. The environment was clean and bright, and the staff was kind and...
Read moreFood was good. We had the fried pork and squid, but service fee was ridiculous. If I remember right, was about 10% service charge.
Waitresses were just standing around staring and I really felt like my NTD 90 service charge went to waste. If you decide to charge such an amount, make sure you serve your customers right and don’t leave your employees standing around idling then take more money from people, definitely not worth it even though food was good.
Really consider takeouts rather...
