Kedai Sri Rahayu — Restaurant in Taipei

Sri Rahayu offers a perfect combination of good meals and cozy interior design. As an Indonesian, I am happy to ask my international friends to enjoy Indonesian cuisine from this restorant because of those reasons. I like almost all the food variants in their menu, especially Meatballs, Sate and nasi uduk Ayam serundeng. I also enjoy Teh Botol (iced tea) so much, relieves my tongue after all those meals. They tend to serve the meals in a fast duration of time. The location also easy to find as it is so close to CKS memorial hall exit 5. Despite all, just want to remind you that, this resto doesn't have a rest room, so you can get prepared. Hope you will learn something from my review and enjoy Indonesian meals...

It was my third time coming here and I always brought my friends. I really like how the staffs are very welcoming and friendly. My friends and I arrived when the shop was almost closed, but the staffs let us in and said it’s okay for them to stay late (for which I’m really touched). I ordered meatballs since I crave for it and my friends had the fried pigeons. The foods are all tasty and the pigeon is on top of my list (I’ll probably order this next time I go here). The staff/ owner (I’m not sure), gave us free hot tea and a jar of kimchi (for each of us). I’m not really sure why, but I hope their business runs smoothly and more people are coming. Really unforgettable...

Initially I will give 4 stars. Because the taste is original Indonesia and taste good, eventhough not really special. The staff who served our food is friendly, but the cashier is very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. We asked politely why one of our friend food has not come yet, while others almost finished theirs. But she looked very unhappy with the question and not willing to ask the kitchen whether the food is ready. I will think twice to come back. There are many other indonesian...
