Finally found halal food nearby Academia Sinica! The location is just a few meters from MRT Nangang Exhibition Center (Exit 5). It is not a restaurant, only a small stand but the owner is super friendly. He has been in Taiwan for 9 years. Previously he sold his food in Keelung night market and moved to Nangang 3 years ago. I bought spicy beef roll but it was not so spicy for me. If you like spicy food, you can ask for more spices. There are other menu worth to try too. It opens everyday from 10 am to 9 pm.

Love the wrap, nice taste but can not find the beef and the chicken tho. Watery and too much cabbage. But served in large portion 👍🏽👍🏽, liked it. Most important is, because this is halal food. Want to try the rice menu (because I saw other guest was served by it)

旁邊椅子坐著一位看起來是同鄉，攤子前面還有一位大姐在等，老闆中文很好，招呼我先看牌子，慈祥和藹的樣子，讓人聯想到聖誕老公公。 我點的是雞肉捲，看過網路評價，怕拉肚子，緊盯著整個製作過程。 撒手粉、桿餅、指尖甩餅、烤餅，烤好後放板子上，老闆洗去手粉、擦乾，從旁邊的冰箱裡取出了半顆高麗菜，原本切好的高麗菜讓前一位大姐用完了，心想他該不會打算就直接這樣切給我吧！？還好並沒有。從後面取出了砧板，撥去高麗菜的外葉，切去菜心頭，打開水槽龍頭往菜內好好的沖了沖，然後高高舉起，用力的甩水入槽(真的甩了很久，怕沾濕餅皮吧)，放高麗菜回砧板橫切面朝下，關水，擦乾手，沿高麗菜半徑斜切幾刀，半顆菜放到後面台子，捧菜絲放餅皮上，從電子鍋裡舀了滿滿一大匙的餡料，蓋在菜絲上，擠一圈紅色醬料，捲起，完成。桿生粉、捲熟餅、切菜是三塊不同的板子，雖然身為主婦，我不會這樣洗高麗菜，但是比起某些菜拿出來直接切進鍋的自助餐廳，已經好很多了，老闆應該有在改進吧。 很喜歡餅皮的口感，肉汁也很甜，香料口味偏重，不喜，下次改吃其他口味。 製作過程中，如果老闆可以適時地改用夾子或戴上手套，應該會更好。吃完幾天了，肚子很和平。

Liked his yummy chicken biryani. The taste was much much better than any other Indian restaurant in Taipei with this reasonable price. Though biryani taste differs from region to region in India, his flavor of biryani suited well with our region biryani. You may have to make pre order to get this biryani. Chicken rolls and mutton rolls are very low in meat 🥩 quantity. Which I buy there is no meat at all. I don’t suggest to buy rolls from here. And you can buy Chicken biriyani from this restaurant. Its good and quantity is fine. Price is 200 NTD per meal. We need to order...
