they had some interesting takes on sushi, such as a taro mash instead of sushi rice, which was surprisingly good.
desserts were somewhat lack luster, but the cheesecake and creme brulee were done to a high standard. the ice creams, lacking dairy, were more like sorbets, which we found quite unappetizing.
briefly sampled some tempura and fried rice but beware these items take up valuable stomach real estate. the mushroom looking sesame filling steamed bun was too cute not to try.
recommendations: -roasted mushrooms -truffle scrambled eggs -truffle oil pizza was nice but be careful as that can fill you up fast. -stir fried omnipork with mixed vegetables went well as fresh lettuce wrap or as in a crispy taco shell -star of the hot dishes is easily the pan seared lion's mane (aka monkey head/bearded tooth) mushroom 猴頭菇. tasted very much like a juicy, succulent roasted pork or BBQ pork. very flavorful. came with a sweet jam sauce which went very well. -creme brulee -cheesecake -nama chocolate -sliced sushi rolls
