KURA SUSHI Taoyuan Qingpu Branch — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

This Kura is located on a lot with its own building & parking lot, a few blocks away from Ikea. It's reminiscent of casual dining restaurants in U.S. suburbs, but with conveyor belt sushi.

Went on a Sunday early afternoon & got a standby # en route. Wait time was 40min, so by the time we got there, had to wait another 20min. Standby wait time for walk-ins got longer when we arrived. A lot of families around 1pm.

Place was spacious compared to Taipei or mall branches. At it's busiest, ordered dishes took a bit longer than usual.

Food is pretty standard for a Kura.

It's one of those train sushi place where they just keep rotating and your grab them as you go. They're 40 dollars a plate with some being double plate which cost 80 dollars. they also have some side dishes that you can order as well. Good quality sushi but it's kinda expensive for what it is. I'm a big fan of Kura's sushi. But this franchise just fare below the average as compared to other Kura's shops. The serving and freshness of the seafood are below my expectation. And the winning chances of the game is much too low as compared to other shops as well. Usually the odds is like winning a small gift with 15-20 sushi plates. This shop takes more than that.
