LAZY BIRD雷利彼德美式餐廳 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

This place is truly Jekyll & Hyde, or a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. The level of service and food can vary wildly. As such I'll be objective on what they offer. At their best, they do a good brunch and burger. They also have a free flow beverage policy which allows you a selection of soft drinks, Americano and tea. However they can be quite draconian on their 1.5 hour policy, and you'll be chased out of there either on the dot or 5 minutes before, even if the place isn't full. When it gets busy, you'll notice that it's hard to catch their attention, because their bar counter is so high that you can't see the other side, and therefore hard to establish eye contact with the floor staff. I gave this place 2 stars because I have visited 3 times, 2 times I felt that it was really poor, warranting 1 star, and once I got 4 star service. 6/3=2 hence 2 stars.

An American diner in Jhongli! Lazy Bird has great burgers, for sure, and many varieties of toppings, but their all-day breakfast menu makes this restaurant stand out from all other western style restaurants in the area. Buttermilk pancakes, French toast, Eggs Benedict, or just a good old bacon and eggs with toast, can be ordered any time the place is open. All meqls are served with extra goodies and the staff is quick, polite and most of them speak English. If you are in the mood for some real authentic western diner food, head to Lazy Bird! Update 2024, This restaurant has been consistently good for all 13 years they have been open....

Small brunch restaurant in Zhongli with really great food and and a great mix of menu items. From omelettes to salads, and pastas to burgers and ribs, there is really something for everyone.

My friend and I went there on at 11:30 on a Saturday morning (without a reservation)and the place was packed! Luckily we could be seated at the counter.

Orders are placed conveniently via your phone and a QR code and your order arrives pretty soon after that.
