匠客福/早午餐義大利麵 — Restaurant in Toucheng Township

A real find here in Toucheng, although this is far more than Junk Food, so the English name is a bit misleading. We went for breakfast, which is very American in style, and the food was exceptional by any measure. Mushroom omelette was perfectly cooked through, and sides were outstanding, especially the roasted vegetables. French toast was also delicious, and ample syrup provided. More recently, we've tried several pasta dishes, and they were wonderful. The decor and environment is welcoming and comfortable, with an attractive outdoor patio with garden, and an air-conditioned indoor dining room with a public restroom, highchairs, and an English menu available. We were warmly welcomed ! The owner has an English menu if you need. We ordered the pumpkin soup ! Very thick and delicious soup! Served with delicious toasted buttered bread.

I had pasta with chicken. You can feel it is a bit spicy if you don't eat spicy at all but this doesn't make the dish less appreciated. The brunch with omelet and meat was also amazing! We had a wonderful meal here while visiting as English speaking tourists. We had a little hotpot and a donburi - both were delicious and it was obvious that a lot of care went into the dishes, from the smoked meat to the homemade pickles. It was one of our most favourite meals on the trip. The decor was very cute, modern and homey and the dog (Butter?) was adorable, and just so snuggly....
