Bergamo Kitchen — Restaurant in Toucheng Township

Four of us went here after noticing it on a road trip and we were so glad we found this place. The pizza can stand up to many places in the USA, with a really good crust, plenty of the right kind of cheese, a very nice sauce and a good amount of toppings. We each ordered a pizza, which come as one size, and the pizzas were large enough we had to work at it to finish them. The people were very nice and helpful. Basically a pizza place, but they also have a small selection of seafood, which is very good. Fried squid, which I would call calimari is excellent, and tasted fresh off the boat, which should be no surprise considering the seaside location. The prices are good, staff is helpful, and there are some interesting drinks. The pizza is decent, but not great. The crust is very good--they seem to be using Italian flour and have a nice balance between lightness and chewiness. The cheese is acceptable, but the sauce tastes canned, which is very obvious on the margherita.
