This place is all about vibes 😍 the shop is pretty cool with neon lights and cool seating (there was a table where you can sit on a platform without shoes, but the space is rather small). We visited at around 1pm & the shop's pretty empty at first but customers started flowing in after 130pm. We ordered army stew for one, peanut butter bacon pizza, burnt chestnut latte & brown sugar cinnamon latte (the price is pretty steep).
The army stew's broth was NOT army stew but tasted like shin ramyum soup base (it's just shin maggie mee with pork meat slices, fish cake skewer and some other stuff) BUT the pumpkin mash side dish was interesting.
The peanut butter bacon pizza tasted interesting but we got sick of the taste quite quickly (meaning it's a flat taste & not multi layered).
We couldn't really taste the chestnut in the burnt chestnut latte so it tasted like a normal cup of latte to us.
The brown sugar cinnamon latte was not bad & not that sweet so we liked it better.
Overall it's an aesthetics cafe with average...
Read moreTbh, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Their recent reviews seem to be pretty bad. Since today was the holidays, we didn’t have much choices so we decided to check this place out.
The decor and the ambience are cozy, gezellig, and cute. The service wasn’t bad as I thought it would but probably because there were only two of us. The staff were friendly when I told them I needed help because I couldn’t read chinese.
My friend ordered the German sausage pizza while I got the Thai basil pork with rice. Both dishes were delicious. The rice dish was spicy but it really brought out the flavor. I personally don’t really care for pizzas in Taiwan. They’re all too greasy and American/Japanese influenced (too much cheese). However, my Taiwanese friend loved it.
The drinks are yummy too. We got the iced black tea and iced brown sugar latte. They are...
Read moreThe food was delicious with very attentitive customer services, great for large groups and young families, very happy vibe, highly recommend for making reservations or be there at 11:30am sharp. This cafe fills up super fast. Prices are reasonable, children and pets friendly. There two downsides are: Front tatami area needs changing as the cusions are covered with fur when I was the first customer of the day which means there didn't clean this area from previous trading day. The menu is laking of fresh greens, the only option was zucchini pizza. Overall, the experience was fantastic, friendly staff, yummy food and super joyful...
